Ariah’s POV

I stared at him in confusion, I was so stunned by his words that I couldn’t even process them.

Me? Complete him? How was that even possible? He was making no sense and he got the picture of my thoughts by the dazed look on my face.

“What? Me…? Com...complete you?” I stammered. “What do you mean by that? We have nothing in common, I’m not like you, we’re not of the same class or the same anything for that matter, so how? How could I possibly complete a man like you?” I asked, wishing he could just disappear from my sight.

He chuckled, “You already know what I fucking mean, a year ago, you felt something when you first met me.” He replied. “That’s what completes me and you’ve been missing for a while, I’ve been incomplete quite long enough, don’t you think so?”
