The continuous beeping from the machines connected to her body was the only sound that accompanied him when he was with her. He didn't feel annoyed because it was the only thing that made him sure she was still alive. But unfortunately, she was barely alive when he saved her that day, which made his heart hurt unbearable pain. 

She lay there motionless, connected with a bunch of machines. A lot of needles are injected into her body, a group of wires are attached, and even tubes are inserted.. He felt a heart-piercing pain, and tears filled his eyes, threatening to fall down. Then, sitting beside her and taking her pale hand in his big hand, he started to talk to her like always. 

"Love, I am waiting for you here. I believe in you. You are a fighter, and you will come back to me. Please don't give up on us. Please fight for us so that we can live a happy life after that. I am waiting for you, dear. I am waiting for you," He said.

Alexander Smith is a billionaire who holds so much power in A city And belongs to the most respected family in the country. Alexander's fiancée, Joanna White, is the lady lying there, a beautiful and lovely girl. Still, an accident made her lay on the bed like a living corpse. Joanna White is the daughter of Charles White, a very popular businessman in the town. A month after Alexander and Joanna got engaged after a very grand function, Joanna went for a vacation with her friends and got into a nasty accident. She fell into a coma after that. From that very day onwards, Alexander keeps visiting her without fail. He never missed a day until now. 

He always asks her to fight with darkness and come back to him. He always asks her to be strong for them, and he promises to love her for the rest of their life.

He started to talk to her about his day and plans for them and some random topics until he felt his eyes heavy and dozed off there. When he is in light sleep, he hears strange sounds from the machines. He felt weird because all these times he was here, those machines always sounded the same. He confusedly got up from his nap and saw his love open her eyes. He was shocked to see this. Even though he had always dreamed about this day, he never thought this would happen this quickly one day, and he was too surprised to react for a second. He got excited once he found out what was happening.

"Love, oh my God, you open your eyes. I will call the doctor right away," He said to her. He presses the button to call the nurse on duty to come in so that he can reach the doctor. A nurse comes in within seconds. 

"Call doctor Abel and Dr. Sean. Tell them Joanna finally wakes up," He said to the nurse. 

The nurse was also stunned by the comment before she nodded and ran away to call doctors.

He stood near her with overwhelming emotions and finally said,

"Love, I waited for this day for a long time. Thank you for not giving up." He was crying and laughing at the same time.

"Love, how are you feeling? Can you hear me? Are you in pain?" He kept on asking without blinking his eyes. He was too afraid that she would once again become unconscious. 

"W*..el" She made a sound of struggle. But her eyes are filled with satisfaction. Maybe she is also happy to see him. Perhaps she can't talk because her throat is dry. But at least she made some sound that made him happy. He looked at her with lots of affection. She wants some water, but he can't give her now because we don't know if he can or not. So he had to wait until the doctors came and checked her. His heart bled with pain because he couldn't even fulfil her first request after she woke up.

"You mean water? Just hold a little more. The doctor will be here soon," He said with a pained expression, clearly showing how much pain it caused him to reject her.

"Look, the doctor is here." He sighed, seeing doctors coming to the room, and moved aside so that doctor could check her. Soon the doctor looked through the machines that connected to her body. 

While they were examining her, he made a call to Charles, Joanna's father. He gave him the good news and asked him to come fast.

Doctors explained to Alexander about her condition. 

"Mr. Smith, she is fine now. But, of course, we have to run some tests on her to confirm everything is perfect. But in the primary analysis, everything is fine," Doctor Sean said.

After hearing everything, he had only one question.

"Can I give her some water?" He asked the doctor. 

The doctor nodded and told the nurse to feed her some water. They had to remove some wires for convenience. Then the nurse brought a spoon and fed her water spoon by spoon. Seeing the satisfaction on her face, his heart filled with happiness.

According to the doctor, she seems fine. It is a miracle that she woke up.

"Where am I?" She managed to ask. Her voice is hoarse due to not speaking for a long time. Hearing that question, Alexander felt his heart in his mouth. What she meant by that. Before he can reply, doctor Abel has already given her a reply. 

"Hospital. You had an accident, and we are taking care of you," The doctor replied. Alexander looked at her curiously. He wants to read her expression. She felt confused. His heart skipped a beat seeing that. But when he heard her next question, his world shattered into pieces. 

"Who am I?" Everyone in the room was shocked by hearing that question. Alexander looked toward the doctor in confusion. He felt like the earth under him wasn't anymore, and his lungs were out of oxygen.
