Maya embraced Hazel, offering comfort and support.

"It's okay, sis," she whispered, trying to soothe her sister.

"I'm sure he didn't mean everything he said. He's just in shock and probably needs some time to come to terms with this." Hazel sniffled, resting her head on Maya's shoulder.

"But what if he doesn't want me? What if I'm destined to be mated to someone who despises me?" Maya tightened her hold, her voice firm and reassuring.

"Don't think like that, Sis. Fate works in mysterious ways. Maybe this is just a test of your strength and resilience. Trust in the Moon Goddess she wouldn't have chosen him as your mate if he wasn't worthy."

“She gave you a second chance, I’m sure she wouldn’t let you face the same thing as the first time,” Maya said

"You've been allowed to start anew," Maya continued. "Have faith that everything will work out as it should." Hazel nodded, taking a deep breath to steady herself.
