As Rayvin got ready for her date, she started getting butterflies in her stomach. She told herself that she was being silly. Mikael and she had done a lot more than going out to eat. There was no reason for her to be nervous. They had marked each other for the goddess’ sake. But still. The butterflies refused to go away. The music in the club rang in Rayvin’s ears. She almost winced as they entered the place. Usually when she went out dancing, if she went to a club that was run by humans, she would wear earplugs to protect her ears. But today she might need all her senses. Rayvin had to admit to herself that she was nervous. Even worse was that she was nervous about several things at once.
