Excerpt from a chapter : His lips curled in disdain and just when he was about to unwrap the towel, I quickly turned around showing my back to him. What the fucking hell? What if I saw his thing? "Don't you care? Like honestly, couldn't you just order like your usual self to get the hell out of your bedroom or just . . . turn around for you to change? You could have at least warned me that you were freeing your willy, I would have closed my eyes!" I rambled and felt myself feeling all jittery again. He didn't reply and I could mentally picture him scoffing or rolling his pretty eyes. A part of me which never saw a grown man's buddy down there was curious as to how it looked. Was it really long and monstrous like a huge sausage they describe in erotic scenes? Was it soft like a banana or hard like a radish? Was is it like spring that when you poke it, it would go wagging like a dog's tail? A teeny little peek would do no harm . . .

"What does the fox say---"
"You lazy ass! Clean the damn carpet and shove it downstairs!"
I heard the faint voice of my mum coming from the kitchen. I quickly removed my headphones and threw them on the ground in a heap. That dusty, old Chinese carpet hadn't been cleaned in ages but nobody cared about it, except my dear mum. She was distracting me from my extremely vital job which needed a tremendous amount of focus and concentration.
I was trying to do acrobatics by hanging on my mother's long, red, silky scarf, which was suspended from a hook on the ceiling. I was high up from the floor and it was a risk, but it was fun. Yes, seriously I needed a mental check or whatever, but I truly wished to perform in a circus one day. Girls generally of my age had sexual fantasies, but my fantasy was merely to get into a circus which was surreal. I just wanted to make people happy.
"And who would do the laundry? Your d---"
"Ah . . . I will do it later! Stop bugging me!" I shouted back.
I tried to get higher up and freed one of my legs that had gotten entangled in the scarf, but my desperate attempts to show some acrobatic skills proved to be futile. I pulled the scarf further down and before I realized my stupidity, due to my hefty self, I went crashing down on the floor.
If only I had landed on the floor with a broken neck, that would have been a relief. But to my astonishment, along came a slab of hard ceiling cement with a loud thud. And I was in one piece, if not considering the sharp pain erupting from my butt.
My mum and dad came rushing into my room with dad nearly knocking down the door. They looked around and gasped in shock. Both of them were absolutely stunned and I smiled sheepishly.

After my little act and an hour of argument, we all gradually gathered in the dining room. I was quietly sipping tea and dad was busy reading the newspaper. I did not dare utter a word after what happened earlier this evening. Mum and dad were truly disappointed, but they still couldn't believe that I was hanging on a thin cloth. At first they thought I attempted suicide, but they shook those thoughts away when they realized a happy soul like me had no reason to end my life.
"What happened to this Georgia? Did the rats chew this off?" my mum asked and I looked up. She was holding my old, pastel blue shirt. It had a wide hole near the chest area. I couldn't tell her the truth since it was a long story. I had helped a gay couple elope a few days ago since their family didn't accept them. I was engrossed in all their activities like planning their wedding and honeymoon to make them happy.
While I was running to get the wedding attire, I tripped over the couple's nasty cat and it pounced over me. I freaked out and in my courageous battle with the cat, it scratched my shirt and that was how this wide hole was created.
"Why have you sealed your mouth shut, Georgia? Did your chest suddenly swell up and your boobs burst out?"
"What?" I choked on my tea and the liquid spilled from my mouth like a fountain. It was all over the table and water was streaming like a river down my nose. Dad peeked through the newspaper and awkwardly cleared his throat.
"Mom! Seriously? You've got no chill."
"Then what should I say when you are lying to your own parents? I know you were the one who helped Tweek and Craig to elope. See darling, your case is solved," she turned around and informed dad. I shuddered in fear. Nobody in the town knew that I was the culprit. Not that my parents or anybody were against same-sex marriages, but the family of the couple had filed a case. And my dad was a cop. It just made matters more complicated considering how mischievous I was.
Dad didn't say anything and sighed wearily. My mum threw the shirt on the couch and combed her silky hair. She was a quirky and a cool mum. She was quite young compared to other mothers since she had my brother at the tender age of sixteen with my dad.
It was surprising to discover that they were still so much in love even after so many decades. My friends envied me for my picture perfect parents.
"You should never lie honey. It isn't wise to meddle into unnecessary topics that isn't appropriate for your age. Just watch You tube videos and learn to twerk till your heart's content like the other kids."
"Nobody does that! I'm seventeen, I'm not a kid anymore," I protested and scowled at her.
"Then stop acting like you are one. I'm seriously tired of your antic ways," she said and glanced at her watch. "Now forget about this and get ready. We'll be late for the award ceremony."
"How can I forget about this? You never understand me! I was not being childish. I just want to entertain and make people happy---"
"You didn't really make your parents happy by hanging onto that cloth. You have done enough Georgia, I don't want to hear from you anymore. Just get up and come with me."
"I'm not going anywhere!" I snapped at her and ran upstairs. I knew how much this award ceremony meant to her. She was awarded for her philanthropy as well as for her miracle that she did in the medical field. She was a surgeon and she lead an operation which was highly risky. But by God's grace, everything went well and she was successful.
This was rare in the medical history, she proved her senior specialized doctors and everybody wrong. She was also donating money for charity to the orphans from years and had taken no credit. So the people of the town collectively decided to honor her since she deserved it.
I knew I was acting like a brat by just ditching her but I was hurt. I wanted her understand me, to not see me as an immature child. She probably did now because of how I behaved earlier.
I gathered all my painting materials and randomly started throwing colours on the canvas board. When I was angry, I painted. The outcome of my fury was always a bright, colourful picture. I mumbled all my frustrated thoughts and painted till my hands ached. The door creaked open, but I didn't bother to look. I was far too engrossed in my painting. I was consumed in my self-loathing, self-pity thoughts.
"I'm going honey, please come with me. I'm sorry for arguing with you. Please come, I need your support."
I turned around and saw my mum at the door. I dropped my paintbrush and marched towards her. She looked beyond gorgeous in a strapless dark, red gown. The border had dainty filigreed glow-like effect. Her hair was pulled back into small curls. She wore a magnificent thin diamond with ruby studded gem necklace and paired it with sparkling diamond earrings.
She looked beautiful, but I didn't tell her. Instead, I slammed the door shut.
* * *
I was being too cruel. The repentance of my actions was gnawing me in the inside. I knew very well how much this award ceremony meant to her. Dad didn't go either because he was urgently called for work. I swallowed the large lump formed in my throat. Mum didn't really understand me, but at the same time I was a pretty complicated human being. Nobody really understood me. Even I couldn't figure out my strange behavior at times. Why was I so, ugh, disgusting?
Mum was going to give a speech and she was really nervous about it. She had numerous moments of anxious doubts this morning and she wanted me to be there for her, I should have gone.
Hopefully, I could still make it there in time. Better late than never. I grabbed my skateboard and hopped downstairs before locking the door quickly and hurrying outside. My phone buzzed from my pocket and I glanced at it. I didn't call mum because she would have been driving. Thankfully, I received a text from her.
- Honey, please come. There is still some time. Your presence will make a difference. I'm waiting at the Macpie's.
I slid my phone into my pocket and off I went to the Macpie's. The restaurant wasn't far. I was whistling casually and waved at the old couple who lived down the street. They were selling the house and were going on a world tour, I would miss them. I wondered who in the future would occupy their house. I knew every nook and corner of this town since I was born and brought up here. Our family was quite popular because of my super cool parents and my infamous deeds. Dad claimed my mum responsible for my spoiled nature, but my mum knew that I wouldn't hurt anybody on purpose.
I arrived near the Macpie's, but I was blocked by a bunch of people. I got down from my skateboard and left it near the lamppost. I pushed through the crowd curiously. People were sweating and looked scared.
It was dark and I could see bright flashlights everywhere. The crowd was circling around something. I was shocked to encounter with a completely destroyed, unrecognizable car. A terrible accident must have occurred a few minutes ago. The men cautiously opened the door and pulled out a bleeding figure. They immediately pronounced the person dead. People gasped. The men pulled the person out and it was a lady, not just any lady, it was my mum.

this if don't like such stuff.[I wrote this whenI was fifteen, you can find better, mature works of mine on my profile. Please don't take anything seriously written in this book].My dearest grandmother strutted through the door without any greeting, her sagging chin held high up and her red coloured lips drawn into a thin line. She was nearing eighty years and still was dressed ostentatiously in a tight, black mini-skirt, red tube top with a denim jacket, fishnet stockings and black sandals with block heels. She thrusted the innumerable paper bags which contained gifts for her great grandchildren to the nanny and me and brushed past me like she owned the damn place.Robert was dressed modestly in a striped shirt and trousers as he emerged through the door. My dearest grandmother was already complaining about the crummy place and I stood frozen on my spot, flabbergasted by their sudden arrival. Robert hugged me and then Clark while patting his back affectionately, talked to us for a few seconds and I managed to crack a smile, until my grandmother called him dramatically like those old-fashioned wives calling their husbands in soap operas. As Robert strode towar
"Georgia," Clark drawled while switching on the lights and I turned rigid.I was caught red-handed, surreptiously stuffing frozen, crusty cupcakes while sitting by the fridge in the dark corner."Mmph I-I cagrrrnt hemnlp!" I exclaimed through my mouth stuffed with cupcakes and tears of choking streamed down my cheeks as I started beating my chest rapidly.Clark immediately was crouched by my side, rubbing and patting my back while handing me a glass of water."You alright, Georgia? Do you need more water or anything else?" he asked in concern and I burst out in tears while trying to shove another cupcake in my mouth in pity which Clark gently took it from me."I don't even know why I'm crying!" I blurted out and Clark pulled me into his arms while muttering about how it was all going to be okay. I cried against him while clutching his t-shirt, unconsciously wiping my snot on it, but he cared less. He was busy trying to calm my raging hormones as I sniffed while complaining about how s
Five years later"Hey! Let me in, you assholes! I'll make sure you all are fired! Hey, Let me in!" I yelled and thrashed in the arms of the guards who prevented me from entering the posh building."Don't bite me!" one of the guards roared in alarm as I tried to bite him."You will never change, will you?" I heard a deep, raspy voice from inside the opulent passage way and my head jerked up."Why, you want me to?" I barked while clawing at the guards still holding me in place."Of course not," Clark appeared in a crisp, dark suit and sauntered towards me."Tell them to let go of me! I swear I'll bite this one's dick off--- ""Leave her," Clark ordered and the guards reluctantly left me which made me fall down on the floor with a loud thud."I'll make sure you all are fired, each one of you," I snarled with deliberate emphasis and it looked like they didn't believe me because they muffled their laughter. I huffed, got up, dusted my tuxedo and snapped, "You tell them, Brownie!"Clark coo
One month laterI hurried outside my arts class when I got a call from accounting and commerce course classes saying that their lecture for today was cancelled. I sighed in relief and thanked them. The past month had been hectic for me because of the number of small courses I was signing up for. As promised to dad, I had to make this year fruitful and productive by not wasting time in netflix, but actually working hard.My shoulders slumped in exasperation as I sauntered towards the lemonade stall run by the local kids and drank two cold glasses of sweet lemonade. Since the lecture was cancelled for today, I looked forward to snuggle under the sheets and sleep for fifteen hours straight until my alarm would ring again at exactly six in the morning for my cycle of classes to begin.I strolled on the streets with a hunchback and yawned while the people of the town glanced at me in sympathy. I gave a sardonic laugh, surprised by how things changed so suddenly. Months before, nobody would
Two weeks later"Hey, Ian. Come on in," I said while trying to be as cheerful as possible and he just quietly followed me upstairs, to my room.He sat on the chair near the desk, right opposite to me while I plopped on my bed. We sat in silence, my gaze fixated at the floor and my fingers softly drumming on the sheets. Ian's face was buried in his hands tiredly and he slowly looked up.It was like we were mirroring each other's expression. Dark circles underneath our eyes, my eyes were puffy while his bloodshot and a strange kind of sadness looming over our faces. The sadness of losing our own mothers and the respective guilt of not spending enough time with them. This kind of sadness we often saw lingering over Clark's face, but it was too common on him. It was too surreal on us, the people who were always smiling and grinning."How're you doing?" I asked Ian while he shifted uncomfortably on the chair."Not good," he said honestly and we both sighed. "What about you?""Not good," I
One week later"George," my dad called out and I shut the front door of my house."What, now?" I grumbled while removing my sneakers and he emerged from the kitchen."You can't do this, George. Either you're in the bed the whole day or you're out till late night doing God knows what. This behaviour is not acceptable in my house," he said staunchly and I snorted.I had been out all day to comfort and support Ian who's mother had passed away just two days ago, but my dear dad didn't need to know that."You know what behaviour is not acceptable?" I stormed in the kitchen and brought out the plastic bags filled with liquor bottles. "This!" I threw it right in front of him causing the glass bottles to smash and break. The alcohol inside it pooled around the ruins of the bottles and the plastic bag."This is what is not acceptable! This is what that needs to be stopped right this moment!" I snapped, emphasizing on 'this,' which made my dad's eyes widen in shock."Exactly, this was my reacti
"W-What?" I snorted and narrowed my eyes at the picture. "This is ridiculous! This is not even funny! Why would you even joke about my mum's death, Brownie? Why?""George, it's not a joke," I heard my father's sombre voice while I was laughing hysterically and he placed a hand on my shoulder. "It's not a joke."I cocked my head, analysing the picture and said, "Hmm. Maybe this isn't what it appears to be! It can be someone who-who looks exactly like him or-or . . . ""This is him," I heard my father's voices, then footsteps, some noises, but my mind couldn't process any sound because my head was spinning.A firm hand squeezed my shoulder causing me to flinch and I whirled around. My hand clamped over my mouth as I shook my head when I saw Clark standing right in front of me with handcuffs on. He just stood there frozen, his spine straight and his body rigid like a rock."What-What is going on . . . " I trailed off and took quick, firm steps towards him until I was right in front of hi
Clark wasn't on Instagram because he thought it was a waste of time and was for the jobless people who just wanted to flaunt stuff. On the other hand, I was initially quite pleased and flattered to be somewhat popular. Somehow the people had managed to discover my Instagram account because I got over twenty thousand followers liking my silly memes and embarrassing pictures. After all, I was the 'billionaire's girlfriend.'The people expected Clark's girlfriend to be well dressed, elegant and sophisticated, but I was quite the opposite with my usual grin in most pictures sporting my brother's old clothes. However, the people did start to like me because of how relatable I felt to them, just a commoner in love with a billionaire and blah blah, all that fairytail nonsense. I had even posted some pictures of Clark and me, the one with the most number of likes was where I was pulling Clark's cheeks in London and he was glaring at the camera. People were fangirling in the comments like we w
Clark's POV :Clark slowly got up and rubbed his eyes when he felt sunlight streaking through the curtains kiss every inch of his pale skin. The morning light in the town was always refreshing compared to the noon light which was scorching heat, sun tan and torture. He shifted slowly, feeling something warm and cuddly sprawled on his torso and a small smile played on his lips when his eyes landed on Georgia. Her comparitively small, curvy frame stretched out on Clark's body, her slender legs tangled with his and her soft, rosy cheeks pressed against his chest. Clark gently brushed her messy chestnut hair and wondered how peaceful she looked in her sleep . . . only in her sleep. For when she woke up, she was a storm of energy surging around him, constantly keeping him on his toes and getting on his nerves. But strangely, he liked that. He liked to keep her around and annoy him to the point that he questioned whether he had lost his sanity just like her. For he wanted to wake up everyda
