It's been weeks now and Alpha Joash hasn't come around. The royal physician together with other doctors in the Moonlight Pack were trying all that they knew.

They sent men out in disguise to seek herbs, magic… cures, but none of them have returned.

Pete's body was preserved in one of Alpha Joash's secret places. I couldn't bring myself to bury her without order from His Highness. When he left for the battle, he made himself clear. He instructed that Pete's body should be kept in shape until he returned.

If he regained consciousness and realized that Pete's body was already decaying under the ground, it would be the death of him.

… Jenny is gone and Vera is…. missing? I am not sure if she is alive or not. I still couldn't mind-link her and there was no trace of her.
