When the maids were done with me, they led me out. I flinched as I found Blake and Alpha Joash waiting outside. I couldn't look at either of them. Seeing Blake made me blush, reminding me of what we just had while Alpha Joash was as cold as steel. I just bowed to greet both of them and followed Derrick who beckoned me.

I managed to look at Blake for the last time and I walked away. We were almost walking out of the hallway when he suddenly called.

"Vera!" His voice rocked my heart and I stopped. He walked closer to me and pulled me into his embrace. "I don't give a damn about what you think. I won't give up on you," he whispered and began to kiss me.

"My Alpha!" I yelled and pushed him away. He looked stiff and cold and when I followed his gaze, it landed on Alpha Joash, he was staring coldly at him. Alpha Joash did nothing
