It's been three days now and Alpha Joash didn't seem to be improving. His condition worsened and I began to doubt if he would regain consciousness.

The physicians had tried their best but nothing seemed to be working. The herb that the royal physician went to get when Targon saved me did nothing. I could see it in the old man's visage, he had lost all hope.

Seeing that the physician had lost hope weakened my resolve but I decided not to give up.

It might seem too late, but I wanted to let Alpha Joash know how I felt about him. Even if he wouldn't make it, he is still with us and I knew he heard all of my words.

Every night and day when I visited his room, I warmed him up with my body. I never ceased to tell him how sorry I was for leaving and in a sweet voice, I muttered into his ears all that he has come to mean to me. Most importantly, I told him how much I wanted him to return to me, to us, to his pack and together we would fight every obstacle in our way.
