Trinity POV

“Thank you, Becca. I’ve wanted to come back here since I saw it the last time. It is so much prettier in the day. It was amazing at night too, but I like this more.”

The corners of my mouth curl upwards as my eyes eagerly roam over the area. The various floral scents from the different flowers swirl around us and fill my lungs. While the buzz of bees and the chirping of birds add an additional layer to the magnificent garden, which I wish I could have had that first night with Lance.

Becca pushes the wheelchair further into the garden. “When did you get up here to see it before? I was told you haven’t left your room.”

My gaze falls upon the various rose bushes at the back. My grin widens as I reply, “Lance brought me up here.”

The wheelchair suddenly stops. “Did you say Lance brought you up here?”

While still soaking in all the beautiful things and lost in a happy daze, I nod. “Yeah. He had come in when I was trying to walk and caught me as my legs gave out. H
