Chapter 3: HE’s NOW A PERMANENT GUEST

.

"So, Iandor. How do you like it here?", Christopher started.

Iandor turned his head to the owner of the voice who was sitting at the end of the table. "Its nice. I love it! and please, Ian is just fine.", he smiled at the elder. Sparkles were noticeable even from his lunnette eyes.

They were currently having a nice and pleasant dinner in the dinning room. The chandelier hanging in the middle of the ceiling illuminates the whole room with a gentle burst of golden radiating making the atmosphere more cosy and family-like.

After almost five hours of a grueling battle in the kitchen with Frankie and sustaining a few small injuries (they weren't that serious but Iandor swears the oven wanted him as a sacrifice) they finally manage to cook up a meal fit for an army.

Roasted beef brisket, chicken pie, mashed potatoes, baked asparagus with melted parmesan cheese on top and not forgetting the homemade chocolate ice cream that Nicholas made himself still sitting in the freezer.

A'hah. Iandor is sure he's gonna die from too much 'love' his given.

Christopher and Frankie were sitting at both ends of the table with Zachary, Nicholas and Jay on one side and Alfie and Iandor on the opposite.

"Glad that you like it here, Iandor. We rarely have company, with Jay’s training and all we never even have time to eat as one family.", Frankie continues. "That reminds me, why have you returned early? I thought his training completes by the end of this week?"

"Yeah, but Jay here somehow was able to sped up his final hunting skills in a mere three days. He ended up bringing two wild boars back to base camp in two days. I mean, they were huge for crying out loud!", Christopher exclaimed.

Clearly feeling proud at his younger brother’s accomplishment.

"And he brought back an adult fox on his last day. So we concluded his training were to end the next day.", Zachary adds, cutting a piece of meat and popping it into his mouth.

Iandor who was listening attentively the whole time wonders what kind of training did Jay undergoes. He remembers very well that when the three of them arrived earlier, there was no signs of riffles, shotguns or any other weapons.

Christopher and Jay both carried hiking backpacks and Zachary has a metal suitcase in his hand. Wanting to know more about their recent activity, Iandor opted to speak but at the same time he also wanted to steal a few glances of Jay which ended up backfiring him.

Fuck.

Jay was already staring at him, straight in the eyes. And apparently, Iandor can't stop himself from staring back, its as if the younger had cast a spell on him.

His brown coffee bean orbs were smoldering with something, something that Iandor couldn't quite put his finger on and its scaring him a bit. Scratch that, he was terrified!

"Ian..", Alfie whispered as he nudged Iandor’s side with his elbow.

That snapped him right out of whatever trance he's in and that ends him with a jolt making the fork he was holding dropped to his plate with a loud clank. Ian was mortified when all eyes were trained on him, except for Jay that is. He even has the decency to play dumb.

"Hey kid. You alright?", Zachary asked concernedly.

"Uhm..yeah. May i be excused?", Iandor faced Frankie, asking for permission before he got up and went into the kitchen.

Entering the threshold, he walks towards the kitchen counter and lets his lower back lean against it and brought his hand up to his chest.

God damn it, his heart was pounding like crazy! If its gonna be like this every time he's in the same room with Jay, he might just be dead soon enough.

"Shoot! Why is he so..so..intimidating!", Iandor half whisper, half yell to himself, groaning after as he felt slightly annoyed. "What is wrong with me? Okay..calm down. After i'm fully healed, i'll just leave. No big deal.", he snickered. "I could just leave at dawn. Yeah..yeah! That's good.", Iandor facepalmed. "Oh God. What am i going to do with my life. I can't just leave like that!", he groaned again, turning his body full over the counter, letting his forehead rest over his folded arms on the cold marble table top.

Iandor straighten his back when he heard someone clearing their throat. Realizing it wasn't the person he expect it to be, he suddenly felt self-conscious at the male who's standing near the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. "Is Jay the matter?", asking what it seems like a rhetorical question.

"No.", he denied with a small voice.

Looking down, the white shiny tiled floors seems more interesting.

"You just met him today, kid."

Iandor didn't respond. He could sense the mint-haired male approaches him. "Look at me."

The younger involuntarily looks up. Why the fuck do they sound so commanding?

Zachary brings up two of his slim fingers to the younger's forehead and taps lightly on the warm skin. Iandor was stupefy for a moment as he brings his own hand to touch on the spot that was tapped earlier. "Jay is a teenager, he's easily attracted to the things he likes."

Iandor’s eyes grew big at the statement. What?

Zachary smirked. "If it makes you feel any better, you could just pretend like he doesn't exist.", he shrugged. Casually suggesting like its the most easiest thing to do.

"You're not helping at all. I thought Alfie would come and jump on me, i wasn't expecting for your little 'visit'.", Iandor grins, feeling that the elder's advice was more of a bad joke rather then something he could reflect on.

Zachary scoffs light-heartedly with a gummy smile. "Brat. Come on, Christopher wanted to discuss on something."

Reluctantly, Iandor heads out with Zachary leading the way.

"You alright?", Frankie asked as soon as he takes his seat.

"Yeah. I'm fine, Frank.", Iandor replied with a smile. Not daring to glance around, his focus was back on his plate or occasionally chattering with Alfie.

"Iandor..", the said male instantly swirl his head towards Christopher. "If its okay with you. We would like you to stay here with us.", he said determinedly.

Huh? What? This is all so fast. Okay Iandor. Just politely say 'no'. Come on, its just a big N.O. Come on!

And..

Iandor found himself nodding at the dimpled face male.

Stupid brain.

Saved by The Alpha.Epilogue:.**MANY YEARS LATER** It’s the middle of the night when Iandor and Jay are woken up by a soft cry. The alpha groans, places a hand on Iandor’s shoulder when his mate tries to sit up.“I’ll get her. . . You got her last time. You need rest,” Jay mumbles, blinking the sleep from his eyes. Before he rises all the way, he palms the rounded curve of Iandor’s stomach affectionately and leans over to kiss the human gently on the cheek. Iandor doesn’t sleep well these nights, complaining about their unborn pup jamming their limbs up under his ribs or right into his bladder, so Jay knows that every moment of sleep the younger gets is precious. However, the soft crying turns to wailing down the hall, so Jay moves quickly through the darkness. He pulls on a t-shirt, bumping his hip with the door to push it open. Their wooden floor creaks a bit underfoot as he makes his way to the bedroom down the hall, cracking it open wide to see their daughter, Hana, standing u

Saved by The Alpha .Chapter 35: mates and bonded together .When Jaden woke up the next time, the sun was shining through the window. Way too bright for his liking, but what did that matter? He could feel Alfie’s hard on digging into his side, although the boy was still sleeping.Maybe he was dreaming some interesting things… Slowly Jaden sat up. His ass felt a lot better after a few hours of sleep. But he still felt it. Alfie certainly was something. Maybe he was masochistic considering that he was still looking forward to what was yet to come.Careful not to wake Alfie he climbed out of bed. He had to grab some food from his parent’s fridge, hopefully without them noticing. He didn’t want to leave Alfie alone for too long. Especially when he imagined Alfie’s panicked state if he were to wake up with Jaden gone. And oh how right he was. Even though he did manage to sneak past his parents Alfie was already awake when Jaden entered the shed. When he opened the door the boy’s head s

Saved by The Alpha .Chapter 34: I like the thought of you being my mate.”.At some point, Jaden had to wake Alfie up to get both of them cleaned up. Even though Alfie complained his protests were weak and in the end he just told Jaden to hurry up because he wanted to cuddle more.Jaden did, wiping both himself and Alfie clean before snuggling back into the warm bed.It wasn’t until at least a couple of hours later - it was dark outside already - that he woke up again. The reason being Alfie’s hand hesitantly shaking him by his shoulder. It felt hot against Jaden’s skin. As if Alfie was running a fever.“Jaden?” Alfie’s voice was soft, but there was a certain impatience to it.Tiredly Jaden opened his eyes to find a flushed looking Alfie leaning over him. “Sorry for waking you up… but it’s kind of bad right now…”For a few seconds Jaden had no clue what Alfie was talking about. Then it hit him. Alfie had to be in rut now.“Your rut?” Alfie attempted to blink the sleepiness away.W

.Saved by The Alpha.Chapter 33: tears of happiness .Alfie shook his head. “Anything. Anything as long as it’s you…”Jaden was about to die. How had he gotten such a cute boyfriend? He really had no clue.“You say that but I bet you’ll have preferences… even with me.” He patted Alfie’s thigh, then he leaned down and pressed a kiss to Alfie’s tip before the boy could answer.Alfie gasped, grasping the sheets around him, his hips unconsciously bucking up. Jaden used his hand to hold him in place as he wet his lips. This was going to be Alfie’s first blowjob and Jaden wanted to make it worthwhile.Alfie was uncut, which wasn’t much of a surprise considering he’d never seen a doctor. Jaden preferred it like that anyways. Slowly he leaned down, running his tongue over Alfie’s tip. Underneath him Alfie shuddered in response.Feeling content Jaden pulled the skin back, revealing the rest of Alfie’s tip before slowly wrapping his lips around it and moving down. Alfie’s soft moans filled

Saved by The Alpha.Chapter 32: ruts, heat and everything involving werewolves .“Will you stay this time?”.That question hurt. Especially because there was nothing Jaden wanted to do more. But this town wasn’t the place he lived in. There was no university around and he didn’t know anyone but Jordan and a couple of older people his parents knew. This simply wasn’t his home. As much as Alfie felt like home to him, this place wasn’t.“I’m sorry, Alfie.”Alfie let out a sigh, but he sounded oddly calm. “It’s okay… I… expected that.” Jaden could feel his dejected tone sting at his heart.“I’m glad you’re here now.” Alfie added, still intensely nosing at his neck. Jaden couldn’t help but ask. He wanted to distract himself from the sad undertone of that little conversation. “What are you doing?”Alfie brushed his nose over the spot right under Jaden’s ear before nibbling on the skin. “It’s a wolf thing.”Jaden couldn’t help but feel curious. “What kind?”.“Scenting. Saved by The Alpha.Chapter 31: long distance relationships hurt a lot .A bit longer turned out to be a lot shorter than Jaden had expected because the next morning Alfie called again.Jaden had just been in the process of slipping into his ripped jeans when his phone lit up. Alfie hardly called in the morning, especially not when they had talked for at least two hours the day before. So he picked up as quickly as he could.“Alfie? Everything okay?”The boy on the other end sounded tired, his voice a bit rough. He must have just woken up, Jaden realized. “Uhm no. Not really. I-” He hesitated, the line falling silent for a couple of seconds before Alfie spoke again. “I think I might be going into rut?”--Jaden found himself taking the train back to his parent’s house.Today had been the first day he’d ever even heard anything about Alfie having something like a wolf’s mating cycle.“Rut? Like wolves have?” Alfie hadn’t told him about this.“Yeah, a rut. I feel a bit feverish and y
