Don’t Expect

It’s been three days since Elias didn’t show up after we had sex. I’m alone in his penthouse and I’m bored right now. I don’t have anything to do. There’s no television, and even my own gadgets were confiscated.

I heaved a sigh. I shouldn’t bother him. He’s a busy person. I don’t know what danger could he give me if I meddle with his business. I headed to his kitchen and look for something to eat. I saw some ingredients in the fridge.

“I can survive,” I reminded myself. “Even after he saved me, I should be saving myself and I shouldn’t rely on him,” I added.

I cooked something for my meal up to my dinner already. I consumed some of the meat in his fridge and I sliced some potatoes. I was in the middle of slicing the last piece of potato when the knife slipped and I cut my finger.
