Nova wailed in my head as the feeling of betrayal of our non-mated mate completed the process with someone else. The pain in my chest drummed out the sound of the ground beneath my paws. It was my fault and I had no one else to blame. I released my frustration on him and Connor and in return, I lost a mate. Simon wasn't the one I was truly angry at. It was myself that I found disappointment in.
I shouldn't have allowed Simon to stay by my side knowing what Opal was going through. Everything that happened to her was because of me. If I hadn't moved here, she wouldn't have been attacked and now she was dead. The one person I was fighting to gain the trust and friendship of. In the end, I used her just like all the rest.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I apologize for not uploading today. There was a lot going on with family and cleaning after yesterday but I will upload tomorrow as a replacement. Hey, my awesome readers! I know I had discussed with ya'll about writing the next story about Susi but I think I want to write Opal's next first. I have so many fantastic ideas for her story and I already have the first few chapters thought up. I'm planning to write a ton of it before I publish it here first so I can have my two editors go over it instead of like Lili's story. After I finish Lili's story, both of my editors will be going through and editing the whole thing to make it PERFECT. I know I suck in some places with writing and I don't want to finish this story until they have both gone through and made changes. My plan is to have them go through the first many chapters of Save Me, My Warlock before I publish any of it here to give you guys the quality you deserve. Simon's POV We brought Lil back to Su's home and went straight for our room. Connor did not push me to hand her to him and I could only assume it was because he thought I needed her. He was right. As we get closer to the story's ending, it will be unknown if our main 3 lovebirds will survive. Connor is still on the brink of death... Simon may die if his Lykos dies.... Lilith may die from the spell draining her.... Everyone may die because of Jenny if she survived.... Everything is in Susi’s hands right now. How will she keep the pack under control being just a Beta? If there is a Vargulf alive still, will she be enough to kill it?
