Lauren's POV

I was gleefully and joyfully waiting for the news of Samantha's death to spread across the city but there was still no news.

I checked the blogs and websites every moment to see what was making the headlines hoping it would be Samantha's death but there was nothing as such and I was starting to get vexed.

She was supposed to be killed yesterday evening so I could not understand why there was no single news about her even getting injured.

I paced around the room, breathing heavily and raggedly with anger. I took a look at myself in the mirror, I looked so disorganized, the whole issue had taken a toll on me and I was not even having the time to dress up like I usually did, my eyes looked like they had drooped and my face seemed like it had aged even faster.

"Everything would be for with me as soon as Samantha is dead." I said to myself and sighed softly, looking away from the mirror.

I did not so much want to see that version of myself.
