Twenty minutes.

That was how long it had been since Levi last made contact with Natalie. After her strange call, he'd tried to get in touch with her, but her phone was now switched off and to say he was sick to his stomach with terror was an understatement.

He hadn't known her for long, but the Natalie that had called him not so long ago was a far cry from the sassy, confident woman he'd fallen in love with. She'd sounded like she was at the end of her rope, and he was terrified she'd try to harm herself.

After trying one more time and still not getting through, he called Zachary and Carlos.

Zachary sounded wide awake when he picked up, even though it was just after 3:30 AM, his time.

"Where are you?" Levi asked.

"Beacon Hill, outside your girl's place," Zachary replied.

"Good, I need you to go up to her apartment right now, right this instant! I think something's wrong with her!"
