There was something feral in his brown eyes. It wasn’t lust. It was need. An animalistic need that threatened to engulf us both like a wildfire if we let it.

I wanted to let it.

I wanted to burn right along with him, because that's how it felt. Like we were both being consumed by a fire so hot that it would leave nothing but ash in its wake.
