Chapter Twelve

Havoc

There were two familiar figures leaning against the clubhouse wall smoking something that obviously wasn’t a cigarette when I pulled my bike to a stop.

I had rushed the drop, eager to get back to the compound and Darcie. But I had the envelope securely in my inside pocket. There was absolutely no need for them to meet me. It wasn’t like this was my first run.

Pulling the helmet from my head, I bristled as the club’s sergeant at arms frowned at me. Cyber didn’t say anything, but he didn’t have to. It was pretty clear that they were waiting for me.

“Havoc,” Fang called. Never one for being subtle, his voice carried even over the music that was pounding out of the open windows. “Everything ok?”

Stuffing my hands into my pockets, I sauntered over to them. My eyebrows pinched together. Something was obviously up. Either that or they suddenly didn’t trust me.
