Getting Ready

I woke the next morning feeling great. I was so grateful that I was better before we had to leave for our big trip. I hopped out of bed and hurried to the bathroom and then the kitchen. Hart and Eve were still snoring in her bed. We were really going to have to look into getting Hart a real bed if he was going to have to stay here much longer. Of course, it didn't seem like either he or Eve minded sharing. I was just glad that Luke had loosened up about having guards sleeping on our couches. We had enough people staying in this house as it was. I couldn't imagine anyone being able to sneak in without one of us noticing.

I started the coffee and checked the laundry. I was pleasantly surprised to find only one load of dirty clothes which looked like things that we wore yesterday.
