Alpha Marcus made sure that Jewel was given the best trianing she could get and he was so adamant and unyielding to the suggestion that he keep his seventeen years old daughter out from a dangerous contest. It dawned on everyone at once that someone had dared him and now he was going to flaunt Jewel to every one. The day approached and Jewel became more anxious than ever. Linda was there to give her some form of support but it really did not do much good.

"Are you ready" alpha Marcus asked as he stretched his hands to take hers. Jewel nodded but she still haboured fright within her.

The journey to the venue was really quiet. It took about three hours for them to get there and once they arrived, Jewel braced herself up for the worst. There were cars packed all over the place and the scent of wolves filled the place. There was no human here. She knew for a fact because of how strong the scent had been. Some persons stood in groups conversing and at intervals laughing.
