CHAPTER 87: SILENT TREATMENT

McKenna's POV

I knew today was a big day for Tavi, but my mind was elsewhere. Jubilee only spoke to me about our son, Jonah and how we were going to win the brewing war. The passion he reflected when talking about all these things used to be how he would glow talking about US. Not anymore from where I sit.

Deciding that I couldn't take the tension after the long ride to Tirado, I leaped out of the carriage and decided to go for a walk. Jubilee declined my invitation as quickly as I had extended it. My heart broke time and time again. I sighed hanging my head low until I found a spot where I felt I could be alone.
