DAISY'S POV

"Do you really intend to stand out there for the rest of the day?" Zordon's voice startled me.

I could already imagine the cocky grin across his face and his daunting, teasing eyes. I shook my head in admiration and silliness, both at the same time. The more time that I spent with him, the more I got to find out that he was nothing like the rumours that I had heard.

Yes, he was disciplined and firm, but he was also a lovable soul, and this made me wonder why the world didn't know about this side of him. I pushed my thoughts to the back of my head and I opened the door. He looked up from the folder he was reading and stared at me.

"You have that look in your eyes," he told to me, returning his attention to the folder.

"What look?" I asked innocently.

"The one that you always get when you have something worrying about," he responded to me, flipping through the pages of the folder.

"I don't have any look, and there is nothing bothering me. I just came to check in on you," I

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   83: Just For A Second

ZORDON'S POVDaisy turned and stormed out of the office, and all I could do was stare at her. She was the most stubborn person that I had met. Her zeal and resilience were admirable. She was bold, courageous, and confident. To top it all off, she had a heart of gold. At first, I was worried that she would never accept my wolves as her people, but here she was, upset that I wasn't letting her protect them. I smiled to myself, wondering how I was lucky enough to have her on my side. She was everything I hoped for and dreamed of. I closed my laptop and leaned back in my chair. She was so worried that I didn't see her as worthy, but she was more than worthy. She was everything to me, and I didn't know how to tell her. I was scared of being too vulnerable with her. I hadn't been vulnerable with anybody ever since my parents died. There was no way I could trust anybody after what my parents had gone through. That was one way she was a better person than me. She knew how to forgive, and

ZORDON'S POV She walked towards me, ever so gracefully. All I could do was look at her, wondering how she had managed to train herself to walk and act like royalty. Well, what can I say? She was royalty; she was my queen. I looked down at my feet, feeling like a teenager who was eager to ask a girl out to be his prom date. It was weird; it felt weird. She made me feel this way, and I was too comfortable with it. I had no way of dismissing it. I didn't want to dismiss it. I didn't know what I was feeling, but I liked it, and I wanted to keep feeling this way about her. I curbed my smile and looked up again. I could feel my insides jumping for joy as she closed the space between us. I had so much to talk to her about; I wanted to define what we were. I didn't want her to kiss me just because I kissed her first. I wanted her to be the one to initiate it; I wanted her to be the one to make the first move.'Have you made yourself approachable enough

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   85: Your Darkness

DAISY'S POV I headed for my room, the anger in my chest rising as though it were going to burst through my rib cage. I slammed the door as I went in, or at least, I tried to. The weight of the wooden doors didn't allow me to slam it as I wished. I dropped onto my bed and threw the nearest pillow I could find over my face, trying to block out the lights. I screamed and kicked as hard as I could before sitting up. I was so frustrated with the fact that he was doing this to me. I didn't understand him, and I doubted if I ever would. There was something about him I couldn't place my fingers on. One day, he acted like he cared; the other day, he acted as though I was a disease that he wanted to get rid of. I pushed the button near my bed and waited. A maid came running in almost immediately. "Heat up the tub; let it be as hot as it can get. I need to soak my shame away," I said to her. She had confusion written all over her face

DAISY'S POVZordon grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me to his chest, whacking the air out of my lungs. I could feel his heart beating next to mine. "Let's get one thing straight, Daisy," he grunted, rubbing his nose over my forehead. "You are only training in case of worst-case scenario. And that would be if I die, which I am confident that won't happen for now. But know that I will protect you always. I would jump in front of a bullet for you. You will only fight if you must." I felt his lips replacing his nose on my forehead and my body shivered when I felt his soft kiss."But what if I want to defend myself? And since of late, I noticed your soldiers won't train with me anymore. They believe I have surpassed their strength. They are scared of training with me!" I replied to him, frustrated."That's because you've become a force to be reckoned with. You are stronger and faster. You have reached the peak of who you are. All we need to do i

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   87: Stefan

ZORDON'S POVWhen I left Daisy out on the training field, I headed back to the house. I didn't realize at first, but my feet led me straight to that door she spoke about on the east wing. I looked at it and tears welled up in my eyes. This was my mom's favourite place in the house. The library. She first said she had a dream about how it should look, so she brought her imagination to life and was extremely proud of it. Ever since she died, I locked it up. I felt like it was the only way to keep her memory alive. I thought if the place was untouched, then it would preserve whatever memories of her I had. I was extremely wrong. Daisy just made me realize that the only way to keep her memory alive was to let people use the library. I headed to the study and pulled out the key. I hurried back to the door and opened it. The smell of dust and moisture filled the air. Mom would be so disappointed in me for letting this place stay untouched for so long. I decided to get some maids to clea

ZORDON'S POVXavier? Why wasn't I surprised he was the one to be selling me out to my enemies?Xavier must have seen Dexter's rage as the perfect opportunity to get back at me for not making him my beta. He was once a part of my pack, but left some years ago because I gave Isla the position instead of him. And this was the very reason I didn't make him beta. He couldn't be trusted. Xavier's family was from old money so he used his inheritance to form a pack of his own, but because of my influence and the fear I brought out of people, other alphas refused to do business with Xavier's pack so that made him hate me even more. I shook my head and rubbed my temples. Stefan was right. If Xavier was indeed behind this, if he was really working with Dexter, and they were building an army, then we had little chance of winning this war. I groaned. There was no way we were going to win this. Xavier knew the place very well. He literally lived here for almost ten years. He had access to secre

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   89: For The Sake Of Peace

ZORDON'S POV"Tell her? Did you hear his warning? He said we are not supposed to say anything to Daisy,” I sighed, trying to calm myself before I continued lecturing Isla. “If we do this, it will put her in danger. Telling her is not an option. We will keep her in the dark for as long as we can," I finished and I thought Isla would drop this debate too, but I was wrong. "The more information she has, the more she can protect herself.” Her voice got high and I wanted to use my Alpha’s aura on her to push her back in her place, but for some reason my wolf wanted to hear what she had to say. “We don't even know if this guy's real name is even Stefan. He could be a spy for Dexter. We know nothing about him, and I am not willing to trust him blindly without having any confirmation. If you want to do that, be my guest, but I am not doing that. The only person who can verify his identity is Daisy. If we randomly bring up her cousin over lunch, she will have questions. When she asks those qu

DEXTER'S POVIt had been three days since I last saw the sun. I had locked myself in my quarters, waiting for some miracle to happen. I had questioned every decision that I had made since that gala. Furthermore, I had allowed Xavier to mess with my head so much that I didn't see the wrong in what we were doing. My plans didn't seem wrong at the time. Although my wolf had constantly told me to let go of Daisy and just try to be happy with Kendra, but there was no way I could do that. I loved Daisy more than I was letting on. She was the reason I wanted to live and now that she was with another man; I didn't see any reason to live anymore. My entire world had crashed overnight. Kendra had ruined my life, and I was going to have to deal with. A knock came on the door for the millionth time since I had barricaded myself in this room. DAISY'S POVI couldn't sit at the table with Isla anymore. She was comfortable offering up my cousin as her sacrificial lamb. I wasn't down for that. I couldn't believe that Zordon was on her side in all of this, even though he knew Stefan was my only family. I didn't even know that I had any left until now, and they were already planning on slaughtering him and offering him as a sacrifice. I didn't know what got over me, but I wanted to tear Isla's throat out. "YOU WILL NOT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!" I roared, and she cowered away from me. "I AM THE LUNA OF THIS PACK AND I DEMAND YOUR RESPECT!"Before I knew it, my claws were out and going for her neck, but Zordon caught my wrist before I could do anything. "Daisy! Don't," she spoke, clearly shocked by my action. So was I. I'd never felt this kind of rage before. Like an insatiable need for blood. I dropped my hand and looked at Isla. She had her eyes wide open, staring at me. "I'm leaving. I've had enough of this dinner." I didn't

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   91: Daisy’s Anger

ZORDON'S POVI heard a knock at my door and opened my eyes. I looked at my wristwatch and noticed it was lunchtime. I groaned and rolled out of bed. As I swung open the door, the maidservant cleared a path and greeted me with a bow. I gave her a nod before making my way to the dining room. I opened the door and saw Isla sitting there alone. I observed my surroundings and realized that Daisy was missing. She was late again. It was as if Isla tapped into my thoughts because her response came so quickly."She is running late. But she'll be here," Isla let out. Daisy stepped inside shortly after. I took one good look at her and caught myself falling for her all over again. She styled her hair in a ponytail. She wore a white dress that accentuated the brilliance of her dark blue eyes. The dress clung to her body, hugging her every curve. I traced her curves with my eyes. I watched as her breast gently jiggled when she lowered herself into the seat. I lifted my gaze and encountered her
