Nathan's POV

"What?" I exclaimed, getting up. "You're not going to join hands with our pack and there will be no cooperation after everything we did?"

It felt like I was going through betrayal just because of what Mia did to us. We were this close to having everything we wanted to support our pack. We wouldn’t have brought ourselves so low if she wasn’t here. The main reason we are here is because of her, not exactly because of the cooperation anymore. And if we don’t have a cooperation, there’s no reason for us to see her—which is why we can’t accept it.

"I don’t understand. You didn’t say it was going to be like this before, but now you are changing things, and it feels like a betrayal from your side," Xavier said.

"Betrayal? Did you just talk to me about betrayal? How dare you! After everything you made my cousin go through, I still chose to give you a chance, and you blew it. Now you are talking to me about betrayal?" Damon fired at us.

He’s right in a way because we did everythi

Xavier's POV I don’t know if it was anger I felt or jealousy at this moment, but just looking at Tristan made me so angry. What exactly is he doing here again? Does he have to follow us everywhere we go, or is he stalking Mia? He has no right to be here after everything! It’s no wonder that Mia won’t even give us an opportunity at all—it’s all because he is around. Maybe we should just get rid of him once and for all. His appearance makes everything so difficult for me and my brothers. I think he’s always out to get us.Looking at him walk freely around this place made me think of the possibilities, so I left my brothers after the meeting was over and went out to look for him. I couldn’t find him anymore in the place I saw him first, so I continued the search. Finally, I found him waiting somewhere around the garden. He turned around, probably because he sensed me, and looked at me with an expression that was similar to what he always had in the past—the expression of arrogance, some

Mia's POV"Can you believe the audacity of him telling me how you're trying to cheat on me with my cousin?" Daisy said. She had been complaining since she came inside with Tristan. He hadn't been able to say anything, but I could tell that she was already so angry about the situation. I didn't know why she was mad at all, but I wanted to make things right. "You know, you haven't told me who this person you're talking about is. Who said I'm cheating with Tristan?" I asked her. "It's Xavier. You know they always get mad whenever they see me, so it's just a little misunderstanding," Tristan replied to me. I see. Those brothers are at it again. Those people would never leave me alone until they see that I'm dead. What am I supposed to do with this kind of person? How dare he say that about me? He knows nothing about me, yet he thinks he has the right to try and sow discord between my cousin and me? "This is why I don't like them being around me. They are always so nasty and have

Mia's POV After my wolf begged me to save his life, I decided to do it anyway.I’m only doing this because my wolf asked me to. If not, I would have just left him to die. It wouldn’t be a bad thing if I did that right now, but I won’t. Not for now.I moved closer to him, trying to inspect his wound, but he wouldn’t let me touch him. It made me angry. Is he trying to make me mad deliberately or what?"Are you going to let me save your life, or are you going to continue being an idiot? You think I like being here?" I fired at him.He shook his head. "I’m sorry. I’m not trying to make you angry or anything. I just don’t want you to waste your time here. If you really want to help me, maybe you should get someone else to do it."I couldn’t believe his arrogance. He must look down on me so much that he thinks I can’t save him.I mind-linked my wolf again. You see? I’m trying to save him, but he doesn’t want my help. So don’t ask me to help him anymore."No! You can’t do that, Mia. You hav

Mia's POV "Who are you, and what do you want?" Xavier boldly asked them while trying to shield me behind him. It’s not as if I asked for his help, but let’s just go with it.The rogues looked at each other and laughed."It’s not your place to know who we are. Hand over the girl—that’s why we’re here.""Excuse you?" I scoffed. "Am I supposed to know who you are? And why the hell do you think you can control what I do?"I can’t deny that their eyes were scary. Just looking at them made me shiver a little bit, especially since I didn’t want to reveal my wolf to them. But I don’t know these people. What could they want from me?Are they perverts looking for female werewolves to violate? That could be the only reasonable explanation because I don’t see any connection to why they might want me.Or… are they organ-trafficking werewolves? The thing about organ-trafficking werewolves is that they kill other werewolves and supply their organs to people who practice dark magic. It has been a th

Xavier's POV I can’t deny she looks cute when she’s angry about the situation. I’ve long waited for a moment like this—where we would be alone together. I guess I’m too selfish compared to my brothers, and I might always want to do things for myself, but it’s not my fault.I don’t know why she came into the woods in the first place, but she ended up saving my life. I would have been long gone if it wasn’t for her. How she did it is still a mystery to me because it felt like she was giving me something liquid. My vision was blurry at that moment, and I couldn’t see anything even though I was peeking. She was this close to me, and I missed the whole process. However, I still feel suspicious, and I know she’s hiding a lot of things from me—which I’m going to find out very soon. Not that I have a right to know what she’s hiding, but I can’t help my curiosity. I need to know how she was able to heal me so fast when even most werewolf doctors can’t do that."I don’t want you to talk to me

Mia's POVMorning came, and we finally decided to get out of the woods. It was a bit hard for me to look at him after everything that almost happened between us yesterday. I can't believe I let myself get distracted like that—to the point that I almost let him have my body. I feel stupid. Useless. And the only person I can blame for this is him. After all, I got into this situation because I tried to save him. I would have been able to get myself out of here if I wasn’t hiding things from him. Doesn’t matter anyway. After today, I don’t think we’ll ever get a chance to be together like this again. So he won’t get any more opportunities around me. I didn’t say anything to him as we carefully walked through the woods. "I don't see any sign of them anywhere. I think they might be gone," he told me. I nodded in agreement. I already know that. You don’t have to tell me. After that, I didn’t say anything else to him as we made our way out of the woods. Soon, we w

Mia's POV After doing some research on this werewolf camp, I found out that it happens every five years. And this is my first time hearing about it. Lots of powerful werewolves from around the world come to give teachings and training on controlling our strength and unleashing our potential. It’s sort of like a seminar for humans, but at the same time, we gain a lot—skills, knowledge, and possibly allies. But the problem lies with someone like me. Would they be willing to accept someone with no wolf? I have concealed the fact that I have a wolf, but if they find out, will they have no prejudice against me? I've been bullied all my life, but I need this kind of training. I need to learn new techniques in order to unleash my power. The only way I can reveal that I am the White Wolf is when I have enough strength to protect myself—when no one can hurt me. If I reveal it too soon, so many people will come for me. And I will probably die faster than I think. But since Da

Mia's POV "Your girl?" the bully asked as the four brothers approached. Everyone watching gathered around, surprised. Maybe my relief was short-lived. Why couldn’t they just come help me without announcing to everyone that I was their girl? What makes them think that delusion would ever happen in this lifetime? Not after everything they did to me. "I think you heard us clearly, Alpha Kent," Xavier replied. "We just said she was our girl. And how dare you bully her?" I nudged Daisy to move back with me as we watched the scene unfold. Maybe we should just get away from here. I don’t care if they kill each other. "Alpha Xavier, Alpha Nathan, Alpha Sean, and Alpha Rolex—the four invincible, powerful brothers, famous in the werewolf world—you’re telling me this girl belongs to all of you?" Kent scoffed. "I don’t belong to anyone!" I snapped. But he didn’t take me seriously. He ignored me and continued facing the brothers. "What part of ‘she is our girl’ did you

MIA'S POVMonths had passed since the battle with Keith, but the scars—both seen and unseen—remained. Yet, I had won.Not just the fight. Not just my life.I had won myself. For the first time in forever, I was at peace.I stood before the werewolf world, my silver gown flowing in the wind, my white wolf aura glowing softly around me. The night sky stretched endlessly above, the full moon shining like a proud mother watching over her child."The Moon Queen."The title was whispered with reverence, spoken with respect.I had proven myself. Not just as a white wolf. Not just as a Luna. But as a leader. The packs had united under my rule, their loyalty unwavering. They no longer feared me; they believed in me.And for the first time… I believed in myself, too.The brothers stood before me, their expressions nervous yet hopeful.Months ago, I would have laughed at the thought of forgiving them. But now?I exhaled slowly, looking at each of them. My body felt weightless, yet I had never been stronger. Every inch of me pulsed with the raw energy of the White Wolf.Keith’s expression twisted in disbelief, his hands clenched into fists. “No… This—this can’t be happening!” His voice wavered, but I saw the truth in his eyes—fear.I tilted my head, stepping forward with deliberate slowness. “You should be proud, Keith.” A smirk tugged at my lips. “If you hadn’t stabbed me, I wouldn’t have awakened.”His face turned red with fury. With a snarl, he lifted his hands. Dark energy crackled at his fingertips. The ground trembled. Shadows twisted unnaturally. The stench of death filled the air.I turned just as an army of demon rogues emerged from the darkness, their eyes glowing red, their bodies twisted by corrupted magic. Their growls rumbled through the battlefield, sending a

MIA’S POVThe pain was unbearable, like fire licking through my veins, but somehow… it was fading. I could hear my name—frantic, desperate voices calling out to me—but they felt so far away, like echoes in a void.I wasn't in the dungeon anymore.I wasn’t anywhere at all.A soft glow surrounded me, warm and comforting, like the moonlight on a peaceful night. And then, from that glow, she appeared. My wolf. No—not just my wolf. She was beautiful, ethereal. Skin as white as snow, long flowing hair the color of the full moon, eyes like the endless night sky. A presence so divine, so powerful, I immediately knew. The Moon Goddess.I tried to speak, but my voice wouldn’t come out. I wasn’t afraid, though. Her gaze held nothing but kindness, her expression serene."You’ve suffered, my child," she finally spoke, her voice like a melody carried by the wind. "Far more than I ever intended."I swallowed, feeling a lump in my throat. Everything I’d been through flashed before me—every wound, eve

MIA’S POVI glared at Keith, my patience snapping as he paced before us like some grand villain in a pathetic play. His voice was thick with arrogance, dripping with the delusion of a man who thought the world owed him everything.“My father,” he sneered, “was the rightful heir to the Alpha title. But your father stole it from him. Stole what should have been ours.”I tilted my head, unimpressed. “Let me guess,” I muttered, crossing my arms. “And now you’re here to reclaim your birthright? Oh, Keith, how tragic. Such a sad little story. I might cry.”His face darkened. His jaw clenched so tightly, I thought he might break his own teeth.“You mock me?” His voice dropped to something colder, more dangerous.I scoffed. “Mocking implies I take you seriously. But I don’t. Because you sound like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum over something that was never yours to begin with.”A dangerous flicker lit up in his eyes. “You think this is a joke?”I stepped forward, unbothered by the threat

Mia’s POVI was halfway to the dungeon when my steps faltered. The heavy scent of blood still lingered in the air, the thick stench wrapping around me like a warning. Something felt off. Then I saw him.Lucas.He was being dragged into the shadows, his body limp, his usually sharp eyes dulled with exhaustion. His lips moved, barely, but I caught it.Don’t.A silent command. A plea.My entire body tensed. Every instinct screamed at me to run after him, to tear through whoever had him in their grasp. But I didn’t.I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms. The frustration burned like acid in my veins, but Lucas had signaled me for a reason. Rushing in blindly would only get me captured, too.I needed a plan.Spinning on my heel, I turned and sprinted toward the main hall, heart pounding wildly. My mind raced through every possible scenario. Who the hell had the guts to take Lucas? Keith’s men? Another enemy? No. I couldn’t let my thoughts spiral. Focus. I still had the tracker.L

LUCAS’S POVThe moment I stepped into the room, I knew something big had happened. The air was thick with tension, the scent of anger and relief clashing in a way that made my wolf restless. My eyes landed on Mia first. She stood at the center of it all, arms crossed, chin lifted, looking every bit like a leader. Strong, untouchable. But I knew her better than that. I could see the exhaustion in her stance, the tightness in her jaw."What the hell happened?" My voice was sharp, demanding answers.Mia’s gaze flicked to me, unreadable for a second before she spoke. "We caught the bastard who tried to poison our father."I stilled. "Our father?" The words felt strange on my tongue.Mia nodded, her expression hard. "He would have died if we hadn’t stopped him in time."My chest burned. I had barely had time to know the man, to understand him, and already someone had tried to take him from me. My hands clenched at my sides, but I forced my voice to stay calm. "Where is he now?""With the g

MIA'S POVEverything had gone exactly as planned.I stood there, watching the traitor tremble, the weight of his failure sinking into his bones. He still hadn’t spoken, but it didn’t matter—he would.Because this was my trap. The fight. The chaos. My father’s supposed helplessness. Every single part of it had been orchestrated—and he walked straight into it.I glanced at the brothers, who were still catching up to the reality of the situation. They hadn’t known either.Their fight had been real, but it wasn’t their own doing.I had set them up too. Because I want it to look real, though I told them to fight but I didn't tell the reason. Their argument had been the perfect distraction, drawing everyone’s attention—including the spy’s.I crossed my arms, a slow smirk curling my lips as I turned my gaze back to the traitor. "You thought you were smart, didn’t you?" My voice was soft, almost mocking. "Thought you could just walk in, finish what you started, and leave without a trace."His

Xavier’s chest still rose and fell in sharp, angry breaths, Tristan’s fingers twitching at his sides, both of them still locked in whatever petty fight they had started. But I had no time for their nonsense.Because I saw it.A shadow, a movement too calculated, too precise. The way they slipped through the crowd, not rushing, not panicked—just careful.Too careful.Every instinct inside me screamed. My stomach twisted, and an icy chill ran up my spine. I didn’t think. My body reacted before my mind fully caught up.I reached out, grabbing both of them—Xavier’s bicep, Tristan’s wrist—dragging them closer before they could resist.Their bodies tensed against my touch, Xavier’s heat seeping through his shirt, Tristan’s pulse hammering under my fingers. But I ignored the way my skin prickled from the contact.I leaned in, lowering my voice, barely parting my lips. No one else could hear this."Look past your damn fight," I whispered, my heart pounding in my ears. "Someone just slipped aw

MIA’S POVI knew I couldn’t do this alone. Keith was smart, calculating, and already a step ahead. If I wanted to catch him and the traitors hiding in the pack, I needed everyone’s cooperation—even the people I didn’t fully trust yet.Calling the brothers and Tristan for a meeting was a risk, but one I had to take.I didn’t tell Lucas. Not yet. He was still my brother, but I wasn’t blind to the hesitation in his eyes when it came to Keith. There was a softness there, a part of him that still saw his cousin as family. And right now, I couldn’t afford that weakness. The tension in the room was suffocating when they arrived. The brothers—Xavier, Nathan, Rolex, and Sean—stood on one side, possessive, protective, watching me like I would vanish if they looked away.Tristan stood on the other, arms crossed, jaw clenched, his golden eyes flickering with something unreadable. It was a miracle they weren’t already at each other’s throats.I exhaled slowly and stood between them, meeting each o
