MIA’S POV

As I walked away from the crowd, Tristan’s words about the white wolf echoed in my mind. Could it be true? Could I really be a white wolf, a reincarnation of the moon goddess herself? It sounded impossible, like something out of a legend. But then again, nothing about my life had been normal.

“Ima,” I thought, reaching out to her through the mind link. “Is it true? Am I… a white wolf?”

Her voice was calm and steady when it came. “Yes, Mia. You are a white wolf, the vortex wolf. That’s why you survived. That’s why your body heals faster than most. It’s why you feel this strength building inside you. It’s who you are.”

Tears welled up in my eyes as the weight of her words sank in. “I could’ve died,” I whispered. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here.”

“You wouldn’t have died easily, Mia,” Ima assured me. “Your body and spirit are built to endure far more than you can imagine. But yes, I was there, helping you, protecting you. And I always will be.”

The tears slipped down

Tristan's POVMia was in my arms, her soft curves pressed against me as she tried to steady herself after tripping. Her hands clutched my shirt, and I could feel her warmth through the fabric. Her wide, startled eyes met mine, and for a moment, time stood still. Her lips—plump, pink, and so inviting—were mere inches away. I couldn’t stop myself, couldn’t hold back the desire that had been building inside me for so long.I brushed a strand of hair from her face, my fingers grazing her soft skin. “Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?”Her cheeks flushed, and I caught the slight parting of her lips, as though she were about to say something, but I didn’t give her the chance. I leaned down, my lips capturing hers in a kiss that I had dreamed about more times than I could count. At first, she was still, as if surprised, but then I felt her soften, her lips moving hesitantly against mine. That small gesture was all I needed. I deepened the kiss, my hand sliding to the small of her ba

Mia's POVI finally laid down on the plush bed, the soft lavender sheets cradling me in their comforting embrace. The room, so perfectly designed, felt like a sanctuary, but my mind refused to settle. My lips still tingled from the kiss with Tristan, and my heart raced every time I thought about how close we’d been."How could something so brief feel so intense?" I ran my fingers over my lips, replaying the moment in my head. His warmth, the way his hand cupped my face, the way he made me feel like I was the only person in the world—it was all so overwhelming."It was really different and a special kiss for the first time." I mumbled to myself.I closed my eyes, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips, and eventually, sleep claimed me.When I woke, the morning sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a golden glow across the room. I blinked, disoriented for a moment, before realizing where I was.I sat up, brushing my hair out of my face, and noticed something odd. My d

Mia's POVThe cold marble floor pressed against my back as I lay at the bottom of the stairs, listening to the commotion above. My ribs ached, my breathing shallow, but my wolf, Ima, worked quickly, knitting my bones back together and numbing the pain. I stayed still, my eyes closed, feigning helplessness to see how they would react.“Mia!” Xavier’s voice called out, his footsteps echoing as he rushed toward me. Nathan and Sean followed close behind.“She is a monster!” Layla shrieked from the top of the stairs. “She attacked me first ! And when I defence myself, she tripped on her own!”The brothers hesitated, exchanging glances. I felt their presence around me, but none of them dared to touch me.Of course they will take her side; how could I even expect them to listen to me and take my side?“She doesn’t have a wolf,” Nathan muttered. “That fall should’ve been fatal. How is she even breathing?”Yes, that's what you always thought for me and tormented me as much as you could. “She’

Xavier's POVMia's fall had left us stunned, but what shocked me more was how she stood up like nothing happened. No wolf, no mate bond to share strength, yet she walked away from an injury that should have left her broken—or worse.“She’s hiding something,” Sean said, pacing the room.Nathan leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, his brow furrowed in thought. “There’s no way she could’ve survived that fall without a wolf. No human could heal like that.”“We’ve known she doesn’t have a wolf,” Sean added. “Unless…”“Unless she’s been lying to us,” Nathan finished, his hatred for her still there. I stayed silent, staring at the spot where Mia had been moments before. My mind churned with conflicting thoughts. If she was hiding a wolf, why? What could she possibly gain from keeping it a secret? She could show us that she is not an omega and won't be have treated the way she was treated by us. Scarlet burst into the room, her heels clicking sharply against the floor. “Are you serious

Mia’s POVThe weekend felt like a lifeline. I finally had some space, some quiet, to figure out what I needed to do. Staying under Diego’s roof was safe, and Tristan’s presence gave me comfort, but I knew I couldn’t rely on them forever. I needed independence. With that thought in mind, I set out early in the morning, scouring the city for part-time work. The hustle and bustle of the streets distracted me from my swirling thoughts, and I felt determined to find something. Anything. The first café I stopped at had no vacancies. The manager was kind but firm, letting me know they’d just hired someone. The second store, a quaint bookstore, was the same story. By the third rejection, I was starting to feel disheartened.I stood outside a small diner, staring at the “Help Wanted” sign taped to the window. My hand hovered over the door handle, but I hesitated. Could I really do this? Balancing work, school, and whatever chaos the brothers were bound to throw my way?I took a deep breath and

Mia’s POVThe growls from the wolves surrounding me sent chills down my spine. My instincts screamed at me to run, but Ima remained calm in the back of my mind.“They’re not from any pack I recognize,” I muttered. “Their scent… it’s different.”“They’re rogues,” Ima said firmly. “But they don’t feel entirely hostile. Don’t make a move yet.”I glanced around, searching for an opening, but they closed the circle tighter, their eyes watching my every move. My heart pounded in my chest, but I trusted Ima’s instincts.“What do they want?” I whispered internally.“They sense something in us,” Ima replied. “They don’t know who you are yet, but they’re trying to figure it out.”One of the wolves stepped forward, his piercing yellow eyes locked onto mine. He sniffed the air, his growl rumbling low in his throat.“Who are you?” he demanded, his voice rough and gravelly.I didn’t answer. Instead, I focused on keeping my breathing steady, my body poised to fight if needed.Ima growled in my head.

My hands gripped his shirt tightly, but not out of affection—I was trying to push him away. But he wasn’t stopping. His teeth grazed my lips, biting them, pulling me closer as if he couldn’t get enough. My frustration boiled over, and without thinking, I bit him back, hard.Xavier pulled back abruptly, his lips slightly swollen, a mix of surprise and annoyance flashing in his eyes. “Did you just bite me?”“Yes, I did,” I snapped, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand. “Because you don’t seem to understand the word ‘stop.’ What the hell is wrong with you?”“What’s wrong with me?” He scoffed, running a hand through his hair. “What’s wrong with me is you, Mia. You’re mine. Do you understand that? Mine.”I glared at him, my blood boiling. “Yours? Really? You only want to claim me when it suits you, but the rest of

MIA’S POVDiego’s words hung in the air like a thunderclap, the weight of them pressing down on all of us. The room fell into a heavy silence, the brothers staring at their father as though he had just delivered their death sentence.“Two options,” Diego repeated, his tone steady but grim. “Either your true mate completes the bond and breaks the curse, or a white wolf could save you from this curse. But as far as we know, no white wolves exist in this generation.”White wolf? My wolf was also white wolf.I was not only their mate but white wolf also.I opened my mouth to speak, but something stopped me. It wasn’t my place to comment, was it? This wasn’t my problem. Or at least, that’s what I tried to convince myself. But the knot forming in my chest told me otherwise.Xavier’s eyes narrowed, his frustration evident as he stepped forward. “You’re telling us this now? After everything?”“I didn’t want it to come to this,” Diego replied calmly. “I’ve spent years trying to find another wa

And then, from that glow, she appeared. My wolf. No—not just my wolf. She was beautiful, ethereal. Skin as white as snow, long flowing hair the color of the full moon, eyes like the endless night sky. A presence so divine, so powerful, I immediately knew. The Moon Goddess.I tried to speak, but my voice wouldn’t come out. I wasn’t afraid, though. MIA’S POVI glared at Keith, my patience snapping as he paced before us like some grand villain in a pathetic play. His voice was thick with arrogance, dripping with the delusion of a man who thought the world owed him everything.“My father,” he sneered, “was the rightful heir to the Alpha title. But your father stole it from him. Stole what should have been ours.”I tilted my head, unimpressed. “Let me guess,” I muttered, crossing my arms. “And now you’re here to reclaim your birthright? Oh, Keith, how tragic. Such a sad little story. I might cry.”His face darkened. His jaw clenched so tightly, I thought he might break his own teeth.“You mock me?” His voice dropped to something colder, more dangerous.I scoffed. “Mocking implies I take you seriously. But I don’t. Because you sound like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum over something that was never yours to begin with.”A dangerous flicker lit up in his eyes. “You think this is a joke?”I stepped forward, unbothered by the threat

Mia’s POVI was halfway to the dungeon when my steps faltered. The heavy scent of blood still lingered in the air, the thick stench wrapping around me like a warning. Something felt off. Then I saw him.Lucas.He was being dragged into the shadows, his body limp, his usually sharp eyes dulled with exhaustion. His lips moved, barely, but I caught it.Don’t.A silent command. A plea.My entire body tensed. Every instinct screamed at me to run after him, to tear through whoever had him in their grasp. But I didn’t.I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms. The frustration burned like acid in my veins, but Lucas had signaled me for a reason. Rushing in blindly would only get me captured, too.I needed a plan.Spinning on my heel, I turned and sprinted toward the main hall, heart pounding wildly. My mind raced through every possible scenario. Who the hell had the guts to take Lucas? Keith’s men? Another enemy? No. I couldn’t let my thoughts spiral. Focus. I still had the tracker.L

LUCAS’S POVThe moment I stepped into the room, I knew something big had happened. The air was thick with tension, the scent of anger and relief clashing in a way that made my wolf restless. My eyes landed on Mia first. She stood at the center of it all, arms crossed, chin lifted, looking every bit like a leader. Strong, untouchable. But I knew her better than that. I could see the exhaustion in her stance, the tightness in her jaw."What the hell happened?" My voice was sharp, demanding answers.Mia’s gaze flicked to me, unreadable for a second before she spoke. "We caught the bastard who tried to poison our father."I stilled. "Our father?" The words felt strange on my tongue.Mia nodded, her expression hard. "He would have died if we hadn’t stopped him in time."My chest burned. I had barely had time to know the man, to understand him, and already someone had tried to take him from me. My hands clenched at my sides, but I forced my voice to stay calm. "Where is he now?""With the g

MIA'S POVEverything had gone exactly as planned.I stood there, watching the traitor tremble, the weight of his failure sinking into his bones. He still hadn’t spoken, but it didn’t matter—he would.Because this was my trap. The fight. The chaos. My father’s supposed helplessness. Every single part of it had been orchestrated—and he walked straight into it.I glanced at the brothers, who were still catching up to the reality of the situation. They hadn’t known either.Their fight had been real, but it wasn’t their own doing.I had set them up too. Because I want it to look real, though I told them to fight but I didn't tell the reason. Their argument had been the perfect distraction, drawing everyone’s attention—including the spy’s.I crossed my arms, a slow smirk curling my lips as I turned my gaze back to the traitor. The way they slipped through the crowd, not rushing, not panicked—just careful.Too careful.Every instinct inside me screamed. My stomach twisted, and an icy chill ran up my spine. I didn’t think. My body reacted before my mind fully caught up.I reached out, grabbing both of them—Xavier’s bicep, Tristan’s wrist—dragging them closer before they could resist.Their bodies tensed against my touch, Xavier’s heat seeping through his shirt, Tristan’s pulse hammering under my fingers. If I wanted to catch him and the traitors hiding in the pack, I needed everyone’s cooperation—even the people I didn’t fully trust yet.Calling the brothers and Tristan for a meeting was a risk, but one I had to take.I didn’t tell Lucas. Not yet. He was still my brother, but I wasn’t blind to the hesitation in his eyes when it came to Keith. There was a softness there, a part of him that still saw his cousin as family. And right now, I couldn’t afford that weakness. The tension in the room was suffocating when they arrived. The brothers—Xavier, Nathan, Rolex, and Sean—stood on one side, possessive, protective, watching me like I would vanish if they looked away.Tristan stood on the other, arms crossed, jaw clenched, his golden eyes flickering with something unreadable. It was a miracle they weren’t already at each other’s throats.I exhaled slowly and stood between them, meeting each o
