Mia's POV

My stomach growled painfully as I made my way downstairs. I hadn't eaten all day, too upset by everything that happened with Rolex and Xavier. But now hunger overrode my desire to hide.

The dining room was empty, plates cleared away. Had I missed dinner? Surely they would have called me...

The kitchen lights were still on, and I could hear the clinking of dishes being washed. Maybe there were leftovers.

"Excuse me," I said softly to Maria, one of the maids. "Is there anything left from dinner?"

She wouldn't meet my eyes. "I'm sorry, Miss Mia. We... we weren't allowed to save anything for you."

The words took a moment to register. "Not allowed?"

"Direct orders," another maid added, looking uncomfortable. "We're not to give you any food."

My chest tightened. "But... who ordered that?"

Neither woman would answer, but the pity in their eyes told me enough. My mates - my stepbrothers - had ordered this.

"It's fine," I whispered, even as my stomach clenched painfully. "I can make

Mia's POVI couldn’t breathe. Every ounce of air had been stolen from my lungs, and all I could hear was my heartbeat hammering in my ears. Sean’s weight bore down on me, his hands rough and unrelenting as I struggled against him.My pleas fell on deaf ears.“Please, Sean,” I sobbed, my voice hoarse and broken. My wrists throbbed beneath his iron grip, and my tears soaked into the sheets beneath me.“Your whimper gives me satisfaction,” he muttered, his lips curling into that sick smirk that made my stomach twist in disgust. “You think you’re any better than her? You’re not. You’re nothing, Mia.”I squeezed my eyes shut, desperate for this nightmare to end. Just when I thought I’d reached the edge of despair, when I was ready to give up…The door slammed open. The force of it reverberated through the room, and Sean froze, his body tensing above me. My eyes snapped open to see Xavier standing in the doorway, his face carved from stone, his dark eyes blazing with fury.“What the hell is

MIA’S POVThe first thing I noticed was warmth - soft blankets beneath me instead of cold pavement. My eyes fluttered open to an unfamiliar ceiling, panic immediately surging through my body."You're safe." A deep voice made me jerk upright. A man sat in a chair nearby, his presence radiating alpha power. He was gorgeous in a dangerous way - sharp jawline, intense eyes, dark hair falling across his forehead. "Are you feeling okay now? You fainted in front of my car."I scrambled backward until I hit the headboard, my heart racing. After last night with Nathan and Sean, any alpha near a bed sent terror through my system."Please," I whispered, "I need to go—""You need to eat." His voice was firm but gentle, so different from my stepbrothers' cruel tones. "When was the last time you had food?"My stomach answered for me with an embarrassingly loud growl. Heat flooded my cheeks."That's what I thought." He stood, and I flinched instinctively. Something flickered in his eyes - concern? A

Mia's POVI backed away as Aria and her friends advanced, their claws already extended. My back hit something solid - a tree or wall, I wasn't sure. Nowhere left to run."Did you forget your duties, little omega?"I backed away until my spine hit rough brick. Her pack circled me, their faces twisted with cruel anticipation."I had to carry my own books today," one of them sneered, grabbing a fistful of my hair. "Do you know how heavy they are?""And my coffee run?" another added, deliberately pouring her water bottle over my uniform. "I had to get it myself, like some common wolf."The cold water soaked through my shirt as I tried to make myself smaller. "I'm sorry, I—""Sorry?" Aria's hand shot out, gripping my chin painfully. "You think sorry makes up for forgetting your place?" Her claws pricked my skin. "Maybe we need to remind you what happens to disobedient omegas.""Please," I whispered, tears streaming down my face. "I didn't mean to—""Shut up!" She pulled back her fist, and

Mia's POVMy stepbrothers' voices echoed in my head: Weak. Worthless. Nothing but a toy to play with. The cookie turned to ash in my mouth as reality crashed back in. What was I doing? Someone like Tristan - handsome, kind, obviously powerful - wouldn't waste time on someone like me unless he wanted something. They were right. Why else would he be here? Four alphas - my own mates - couldn't even stand me. What made me think this stranger was different?I pushed back from the table abruptly, my chair scraping against the floor. "I should go.""Mia?" Tristan's hand caught my wrist gently. "What's wrong?""Don't." I pulled away, hugging my sketchbook to my chest like armor. "You don't have to pretend anymore."His brow furrowed. "Pretend what?""That you want to be here. That you care." My voice cracked. "I know how this works. You're probably just like the others - waiting to see how long it takes to break the weak little omega.""Is that what you think this is?" He stood slowly, his he

Xavier's POVThe sound of tires crunching on the gravel snapped my attention toward the window. I’d been pacing for what felt like hours, waiting—though I hated admitting even to myself that I was. When she stepped out of the sleek, black car, my chest tightened. She was smiling. That carefree, radiant smile that I hadn’t seen in so long. But it wasn’t directed at me. The wolf sitting in the driver’s seat leaned out, saying something that made her laugh softly. She waved him off, her entire demeanor light and carefree as she walked toward the house.I couldn’t stand it.The door clicked shut as she entered, her steps purposeful and quick. She barely glanced at me as she headed toward the stairs.“Where the hell are you coming from?” I demanded, stepping in front of her path. She didn’t stop, her expression unbothered as she brushed past me.I grabbed her wrist, my grip firm. She turned to look at me, her eyes hard, her calmness cutting through my anger like a blade.“Who the fuck was

Rolex's POVThe photos landed on my desk one by one. Mia getting into a black car. Mia smiling - actually smiling - at the driver. A figure standing protectively near her at school, keeping the bullies away.I felt jealousy, and anger rushed in my blood. How the damn can she smile with another man! Fuck, she was making me more mad, and a demon who wanted to rip that bastard head. "The man is Tristan Karveler," my spy reported. "Alpha heir to the Karveler pack."My coffee mug shattered in my grip. Tristan fucking Karveler. Our biggest rival, the son of the alpha who'd tried to take our territory three times. And he was touching my mate."How long?" I demanded, staring at Mia's smile in the photo. When was the last time she'd looked that relaxed around any of us?"Started yesterday. He's been... protecting her at school. Bringing her food."Something ugly twisted in my chest. Jealousy, though I'd never admit it. We'd starved her, tormented her, pushed her away. And here was Tristan, pla

My throat felt like sandpaper - I hadn't had anything to drink since morning. At least they couldn't deny me water. The house was quiet as I crept downstairs, my bare feet silent on the cold floor. Maybe I could slip out after, get some air. Anything to escape the suffocating weight of this place.Light spilled from the living room. I tried to sneak past, but—"Where are you going, little sister?" Rolex's voice froze me in place. They were all there. Four pairs of eyes locked onto me like predators watching prey."Just... going outside." My voice sounded small even to my own ears."You must be hungry," Sean said softly. "Let me make you something."A bitter laugh escaped me. "Now you want to feed me? After starving me for days?""Watch your tone," Nathan growled, but I was beyond caring."Or what?" By morning, dark bruises painted my skin where I'd hit the floor."Let me drive you to school."I froze at Rolex's voice. He stood in the kitchen doorway, holding out a packed lunch. Behind him, Xavier had another bag."No." I moved toward the door, keeping distance between us. "I'll walk.""Don't be stubborn," Xavier said softly. "It's a long way—""I've walked it before." When they starved me, denied me rides, left me to fend for myself. "I can walk it again."I tried to brush past them, but suddenly they were both there, too close. Rolex's breath fanned across my neck while Xavier leaned down, his lips nearly brushing mine."You're hurt," Rolex murmured, his voice hypnotic. "Let us help.""Now you want to help?" My voice shook. MIA'S POVMonths had passed since the battle with Keith, but the scars—both seen and unseen—remained. Yet, I had won.Not just the fight. Not just my life.I had won myself. For the first time in forever, I was at peace.I stood before the werewolf world, my silver gown flowing in the wind, my white wolf aura glowing softly around me. The night sky stretched endlessly above, the full moon shining like a proud mother watching over her child."The Moon Queen."The title was whispered with reverence, spoken with respect.I had proven myself. Not just as a white wolf. Not just as a Luna. But as a leader. The packs had united under my rule, their loyalty unwavering. They no longer feared me; they believed in me.And for the first time… I believed in myself, too.The brothers stood before me, their expressions nervous yet hopeful.Months ago, I would have laughed at the thought of forgiving them. But now?I exhaled slowly, looking at each of them. My body felt weightless, yet I had never been stronger. Every inch of me pulsed with the raw energy of the White Wolf.Keith’s expression twisted in disbelief, his hands clenched into fists. “No… This—this can’t be happening!” His voice wavered, but I saw the truth in his eyes—fear.I tilted my head, stepping forward with deliberate slowness. “You should be proud, Keith.” A smirk tugged at my lips. “If you hadn’t stabbed me, I wouldn’t have awakened.”His face turned red with fury. With a snarl, he lifted his hands. Dark energy crackled at his fingertips. The ground trembled. Shadows twisted unnaturally. The stench of death filled the air.I turned just as an army of demon rogues emerged from the darkness, their eyes glowing red, their bodies twisted by corrupted magic. I could hear my name—frantic, desperate voices calling out to me—but they felt so far away, like echoes in a void.I wasn't in the dungeon anymore.I wasn’t anywhere at all.A soft glow surrounded me, warm and comforting, like the moonlight on a peaceful night. And then, from that glow, she appeared. My wolf. No—not just my wolf. She was beautiful, ethereal. Skin as white as snow, long flowing hair the color of the full moon, eyes like the endless night sky. A presence so divine, so powerful, I immediately knew. The Moon Goddess.I tried to speak, but my voice wouldn’t come out. I wasn’t afraid, though. Her gaze held nothing but kindness, her expression serene."You’ve suffered, my child," she finally spoke, her voice like a melody carried by the wind. MIA’S POVI glared at Keith, my patience snapping as he paced before us like some grand villain in a pathetic play. His voice was thick with arrogance, dripping with the delusion of a man who thought the world owed him everything.“My father,” he sneered, “was the rightful heir to the Alpha title. But your father stole it from him. Stole what should have been ours.”I tilted my head, unimpressed. “Let me guess,” I muttered, crossing my arms. “And now you’re here to reclaim your birthright? Oh, Keith, how tragic. Such a sad little story. I might cry.”His face darkened. His jaw clenched so tightly, I thought he might break his own teeth.“You mock me?” His voice dropped to something colder, more dangerous.I scoffed. “Mocking implies I take you seriously. But I don’t. Because you sound like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum over something that was never yours to begin with.”A dangerous flicker lit up in his eyes. “You think this is a joke?”I stepped forward, unbothered by the threat

Mia’s POVI was halfway to the dungeon when my steps faltered. The heavy scent of blood still lingered in the air, the thick stench wrapping around me like a warning. Something felt off. Then I saw him.Lucas.He was being dragged into the shadows, his body limp, his usually sharp eyes dulled with exhaustion. His lips moved, barely, but I caught it.Don’t.A silent command. A plea.My entire body tensed. Every instinct screamed at me to run after him, to tear through whoever had him in their grasp. But I didn’t.I clenched my fists, nails digging into my palms. The frustration burned like acid in my veins, but Lucas had signaled me for a reason. Rushing in blindly would only get me captured, too.I needed a plan.Spinning on my heel, I turned and sprinted toward the main hall, heart pounding wildly. My mind raced through every possible scenario. Who the hell had the guts to take Lucas? Keith’s men? Another enemy? No. I couldn’t let my thoughts spiral. Focus. I still had the tracker.L

LUCAS’S POVThe moment I stepped into the room, I knew something big had happened. The air was thick with tension, the scent of anger and relief clashing in a way that made my wolf restless. My eyes landed on Mia first. She stood at the center of it all, arms crossed, chin lifted, looking every bit like a leader. Strong, untouchable. But I knew her better than that. I could see the exhaustion in her stance, the tightness in her jaw."What the hell happened?" My voice was sharp, demanding answers.Mia’s gaze flicked to me, unreadable for a second before she spoke. "We caught the bastard who tried to poison our father."I stilled. "Our father?" The words felt strange on my tongue.Mia nodded, her expression hard. "He would have died if we hadn’t stopped him in time."My chest burned. I had barely had time to know the man, to understand him, and already someone had tried to take him from me. My hands clenched at my sides, but I forced my voice to stay calm. "Where is he now?""With the g

MIA'S POVEverything had gone exactly as planned.I stood there, watching the traitor tremble, the weight of his failure sinking into his bones. He still hadn’t spoken, but it didn’t matter—he would.Because this was my trap. The fight. The chaos. My father’s supposed helplessness. Every single part of it had been orchestrated—and he walked straight into it.I glanced at the brothers, who were still catching up to the reality of the situation. They hadn’t known either.Their fight had been real, but it wasn’t their own doing.I had set them up too. Because I want it to look real, though I told them to fight but I didn't tell the reason. Their argument had been the perfect distraction, drawing everyone’s attention—including the spy’s.I crossed my arms, a slow smirk curling my lips as I turned my gaze back to the traitor. "You thought you were smart, didn’t you?" My voice was soft, almost mocking. "Thought you could just walk in, finish what you started, and leave without a trace."His

But I had no time for their nonsense.Because I saw it.A shadow, a movement too calculated, too precise. The way they slipped through the crowd, not rushing, not panicked—just careful.Too careful.Every instinct inside me screamed. My stomach twisted, and an icy chill ran up my spine. I didn’t think. My body reacted before my mind fully caught up.I reached out, grabbing both of them—Xavier’s bicep, Tristan’s wrist—dragging them closer before they could resist.Their bodies tensed against my touch, Xavier’s heat seeping through his shirt, Tristan’s pulse hammering under my fingers. But I ignored the way my skin prickled from the contact.I leaned in, lowering my voice, barely parting my lips. MIA’S POVI knew I couldn’t do this alone. Keith was smart, calculating, and already a step ahead. If I wanted to catch him and the traitors hiding in the pack, I needed everyone’s cooperation—even the people I didn’t fully trust yet.Calling the brothers and Tristan for a meeting was a risk, but one I had to take.I didn’t tell Lucas. Not yet. He was still my brother, but I wasn’t blind to the hesitation in his eyes when it came to Keith. There was a softness there, a part of him that still saw his cousin as family. And right now, I couldn’t afford that weakness. The tension in the room was suffocating when they arrived. The brothers—Xavier, Nathan, Rolex, and Sean—stood on one side, possessive, protective, watching me like I would vanish if they looked away.Tristan stood on the other, arms crossed, jaw clenched, his golden eyes flickering with something unreadable. It was a miracle they weren’t already at each other’s throats.I exhaled slowly and stood between them, meeting each o
