NINETY NINE

She quickly scanned through her wardrobe, searching for the best one among her work clothes to put on. She finally settled for one after scanning, she had scattered her clothes all over the place in the process. But she felt arranging them now would take so much time and she was late already.

She would just do it when she gets back from work.

She was about setting out when she noticed the hand band that Adonis had given to her, she still had it on. Agitated, she peeled it off her wrist and tossed it in the drawer close to her bed.

"We should go now" she said to Mia as she came downstairs.

When Mary arrived at work, she noticed quite a number of people in the lobby, they seemed to be looking at something interesting in the tv, only that this particular thing might not really be as interesting as it should be after all, because instead of the excited face she expected to see, they all had different unexplainable expressions on their faces. Some of them had blank expression on thei
