CARLIA

CHAPTER 6

Carlia arrived at the walls of the city of Carlia, she was surrounded by many troops in the walls , crossbows were everywhere near her, swords were drawn , the troops stand their position as if ready to fight when Carlia was there.

The knight show a golden symbol of the land , Carlia gets down from there horse, a man comes 15 steps towards them  and told the knight and Carlia, 

"Is that the daughter of the king?", The knight told him, "yes , it's the daughter of the king, and you will assist her to protect her and train her to be a warrior despite the war already spread,"

The man coughs, and told the knight and glared at Carlia,

"No woman will be ever be a warrior, Men will stay strong, and men Is all we need, even if your the daughter of the king, well the king is already dead , seems you're here that means he's dead, now you Carlia will be taken inside where the woman is being evacuated in the underground of the city, and the knight is all we need".

Carlia got furious, she draws the sword of the knight right beside her, the horse made a noise and lift up , Carlia hold the sword she hold it tight and had a fierce eyes flaming through it, Carlia told the man,

"Who told you that a woman can't fight? Who told you? Your a sick man who is just a feminist,"

The man laughed at Carlia , and goes toward Carlia and attempts to kill Carlia with his sword and swing it , the knight defends Carlia slowly and Carlia gets behind the back of the knight , he blocks the man's sword and protects Carlia , 

The knight got angry, and kicks the man , Carlia goes toward the man and punch him , the man dropped his sword and Carlia was furiously angry and told everybody, 

"Will you follow a man who is a hypocrite? A man who treats women a slave or a concubine? A man with no discipline as your leader , and a man who is no warrior and no respect or hospitality?, Will you follow this man , I repeat".

The Men of the walls stood straight and told Princess Carlia,

"We'll obey you princess",shouted out loud 

Carlia passes by the man , the man got angry but gives up his desire for revenge for getting treated badly by Carlia and her knight, Carlia goes into the town and enters through the walls.

Carlia saw the town as if it is very peculiar and normal , he told her knight, 

"Doesn't this place seem off to you?" , Carlia slowly talks to her knight, "this place is so quiet even the guards let us in", the knight replied to Carlia, "don't know about it , but it's a fun place"

Carlia felt an odd cold air , she got goosebumps everywhere, she approach a guard with her knight,telling the guard ,

'How's our status for defense against our enemies?: , The guard replied princess, "we assure you everything is fine , let us take you to a safe place", the knight followed Carlia, the guard escorted Carlia to a safer place the guard said to the knight , "the princess only can go there" Carlia nudged her head telling him " yes I can go there".

The knight agreed to Carlia's terms and waited with the guards, Carlia walk and walk with the guard and begins to have doubts the surrounding,then it was there a safe place where it has a sofa and a study table , the guard let me in , and it was comfortability, the guard told her , "Princess this is where you can relax yourself, feel at home here", the princess replied,  "oh sure , i will call you if there is a problem now leave". 

Carlia relaxed and sat on the sofa as the guard left, she found a book there and readed it. For a few hours , Carlia enjoyed herself but she felt weird in the town. "Why are there no women or many town people ? What is going on here", she questions herself, it was now night time , carlia never heard from her guard , she now worries and wanted to leave, she opens the door , and someone closes it, it was the guard of the lounge or the safe place , he told carlia, "stay there , Our enemy will come soon", Carlia resist closing the door , but she has no strength or power to do so , the guard had an eerie smile towards her , and carlia felt scared.

A book drop,she picked it up , and she readed a sentence whisperly, This place is not real , find and see if the enemy is nearby, the enemy is already everywhere, Carlia closes the book and look for clues or suspicions everywhere,Carlia told the guard , "let me out , there's no bathroom , do you want me to pee in an elegant lounge?"the guard opens the door , and point out the direction where is the bathroom, the guard followed her, Carlia saw a dagger in a room, she gets it and stabbed the guard right into his heart, and covered his mouth , she finds the room suspicious, and she gets dizzy , carlia has a visoin while holding the dagger, she saw humans running away from  a monster the vision was blurry,a woman stabbed the monster with a dagger and recite an incantation , carlia didnt hear it, but the woman perish into dust and the dagger floats and flies away, Carlia drops the dagger, the vision ended.

Carlia didn't see what the monster is capable, or what power does it hold, she just saw it getting stabbed right into the heart, she heard footsteps nearby she ran as fast as she can without getting notice and till she got into the woods, she felt scared and lonely at same time , Carlia heard a woman's voice loud and clear,she follows the voice , she saw woman holding a sword, women who are wielding weapons and they look like warriors, Carlia stomped on a twig , someone heard her, then they look into it, and told carlia , the princess, the princess felt shy to women , then the woman told carlia ,"princess we need your help".
