THE BATTLE OVER THE BETTER MAN

Ayana stood frozen in the doorway, her heart pounding with confusion and uncertainty. On one side stood Robby, the man she had pushed away but still remained so adamant, and on the other side stood Adam, the ighmare that had stormed into her life and scattered everything.

Her mind raced as she tried to make sense of the situation. Both men were offering her refuge, which she badly needed, but she couldn't shake the feeling of distrust that lingered in her heart. She had doubts about both of them. Their actions seemed questionable to her.

“Don’t tell me you want her to come with you,” Robby scoffed at Adam.

“And why not? That is her rightful place because I am supposed to be her husband by now. And you? On what grounds are you taking her? To try and win her over.” Adam fired back.

“On the grounds that she does not loathe me the way she loathes you, man. And that gives me hope. I still don’t know why you are still standing here. You should be gone to your other women.” Robby said.
