LOGAN Magnus wasn't happy when we came in here to see how Aurora was after the way father left the celebration with her last night, I was expecting something but seeing the bruises and cuts on her face and neck was not at all what we were expecting. AURORA I woke up early the next morning alone in my bed, which I guess was a good thing. I take a deep breath and catch just a hint of Logan's scent still on the pillow. I sigh. I didn't want to send him to my father because if he didn't believe that I sent him, then he would be in a lot of trouble. I reluctantly climb out of bed. I strip the sheets and pillowcases because if the beast comes in and smells even just a hint of his scent, he will want to know why he was in here without his permission. LOGAN When we get out to the backyard, no one is out here, so Wyatt and I decide to do some of our warm-up stretches, but it isn't long before King Axel's Beta Benjamin joins us. He walks up to us and says, "Alpha! Has been detained for a little while. He will join us as soon as he can. In the meantime, I will run through with you our stretching and warm-up routines." AURORA Someone moves slowly up to the bed. They touch my shoulder as they sit on the edge. I jumped, scared that he had come back. AURORA True to his word, King Micheal visited on the quiet a couple of times over the remainder of my pregnancy to indulge in the taste of my blood.
