Amelia’s Pov

My morning walk turned out to produce a great result since I was able to convince Noah into accepting my plans and playing along with it. It was a very risky plan, but I tried so hard to conceal my uneasiness.

The last thing I wanted was giving him an idea that I feared what the outcome might be. At this, I stood aplomb and firm, as though I was totally sure of what I was doing.

My eyes darted to the clock and I realized that it was about fifteen minutes left to breakfast time. For some reason, my heart skipped each time the clock ticked.
