"I can't... I can't believe this," I murmured, tears streaming down my cheeks unchecked. "They were supposed to be on vacation, enjoying their time together. How could this happen?"

Enzo's grip on my hand tightened, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I don't know, Bentley. I don't know."
