DON'S POV

"Kito, you're a genius! I can already picture the look on that chicken's face when it falls for your trap."

I heard Accalia say so I strolled over with a mischievous glint in my eye.

"What's all the laughter about, guys? Planning the next village prank?"

Kito grinned and winked at Accalia.

"Actually, Don, we were just discussing my new chicken-catching strategy. It's going to be legendary!"

Accalia said and i chuckled and clapped Kito on the back.

"I have no doubt about that, my friend. Just be careful not to catch the village cat instead!" I said.

“Can you remember about that hilarious incident with the goat yesterday." Accalia asked as she laughed.

Kito's eyes widened, a grin spreading across his face.

"Oh, you mean when it chased Don all around the village square? That was priceless!"

I chimed in, joining their conversation with a sheepish grin.

"Yeah, yeah, very funny. I didn't know goats could move so fast!" I responded, a little embarrassed about the goat incident.

DON'S POVPersonally, I recalled the day we arrived, greeted by the happy villagers who had all welcomed us with open arms, and they were also believing that Accalia was expecting a child. The news had spread like wildfire and soon enough, Accalia and I found ourselves at the center of attention, receiving well-wishes and advice from every corner of the village. One particularly hilarious memory stood out: the village talent show. Accalia and I were talked into participating, despite our feeble protests. I remembered how I had attempted to juggle three oranges while reciting a poem about love and vegetables. Needless to say, it ended in disaster, with oranges rolling everywhere and the audience erupting into fits of laughter. Then there was the cooking competition, where Accalia was convinced by Maria to enter her infamous "experimental stew that I had told her about." I had begged her not to subject the villagers to it, but she had been determined to prove me wrong. The looks on the

DON'S POVI continued chatting with Kito, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was different. It took me a moment to realize that the change wasn't in the village or the people around us but it was in me. Around Accalia, I found myself being sweeter, more attentive, and dare I say it, more loving. But of course, being the stubborn man that I am, I refused to accept it. It had to be the effect of the village, right? The fresh air, the slower pace of life, the constant presence of chickens—it was all getting to me."So, Don, have you been enjoying your time here?" Kito's voice broke through my thoughts, bringing me back to the conversation at hand.I nodded, forcing a nonchalant smile. "Yeah, it's been... interesting."But deep down, I knew it was more than just interesting. It was downright bizarre how much I was enjoying myself, despite being stranded in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of strangers. As Kito and I continued to talk, I couldn't help but steal glances at Accali

DON'S POVBut deep down, I knew it was more than just reminiscing. It was remembering all those moments when Accalia had made me smile, made me laugh, made me feel... something. And as much as I tried to brush it off as the effects of village life, a small voice in the back of my mind whispered that maybe, just maybe, there was something more between us.But then my ego kicked in again, reminding me that this was Accalia we were talking about. The same woman who rolled her eyes at my jokes and made fun of my cooking skills. There was no way she could ever see me as anything more than a friend... right?I shook my head, trying to push the thought away. "Get it together, Don," I muttered to myself. "She's just your sex slave. Nothing more, nothing less."But as I stole another glance at Accalia, laughing and chatting with the villagers, her smile lighting up the entire garden, I couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for something more.I remembered the way sh

DON'S POV"Get a grip, Don," I scolded myself silently. "You're acting like a lovesick teenager."But try as I might to ignore it, there was no denying the fact that being around Accalia had stirred something within me. Maybe it was the effect of the village, or maybe it was something more. Either way, it was driving me crazy.I glanced over at Accalia, who was now engaged in a lively conversation with the village head, her laughter ringing out like bells. And in that moment, I couldn't help but marvel at how lucky I was to have her by my side, even if it was just for a short while. But then my ego kicked in again, reminding me that I was Don, the grumpy city guy who didn't do feelings. I shoved the thoughts of Accalia's beauty aside and focused on the task at hand, determined to keep up my facade of indifference. But deep down, I knew that no matter how hard I tried to resist it, Accalia had already worked her way into my life, and there was no turning back. And if that meant embraci

DON'S POV"So, Don, any plans for our last night in the village?" Accalia's voice interrupted my thoughts, her tone light and teasing, I realized that Kito was no longer by my side.I shrugged nonchalantly, trying to maintain my composure. "Not really. Just thought we'd enjoy the evening and maybe have a quiet dinner."Accalia raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Quiet dinner, huh? You do realize this is our last chance to let loose before heading back to the city, right?"I fought the urge to roll my eyes at her suggestion. "I'm not really in the mood for festivities," I replied stiffly, hoping she wouldn't push the matter further. But of course, Accalia wasn't one to back down so easily. "Oh, come on, Don! You can't tell me you're not going to miss this place just a little bit," she said, nudging me playfully.I sighed inwardly, knowing she was right. Despite my best efforts to remain detached, there was a part of me that would miss the simplicity of village life—the

DON'S POV"You're staring again, Don," Accalia's voice broke through my reverie, accompanied by a teasing smile that made my heart skip a beat.I quickly averted my gaze, cursing myself for letting my guard down. "Just making sure you're not getting into trouble," I replied, mustering up the usual gruffness in my tone. But as Accalia laughed and leaned in closer, her shoulder brushing against mine, I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth spread through me. It was ridiculous, really. Here I was, pretending to be indifferent towards her, when all I wanted to do was pull her into my arms and never let go."Come on, Don," she said, her voice softening. "It's our last night here. Let's make the most of it."I hesitated for a moment, torn between my desire to keep up appearances and my longing to spend every remaining moment with her. But in the end, the choice was clear."Alright," I said, forcing a nonchalant shrug. "But don't expect me to dance or anything."Accalia grinned, her eyes

DON'S POV"I was smitten by a lass by the name of Eliza," he confessed, a wistful smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "She was the most beautiful girl in the village, with hair as golden as the sun and eyes that sparkled like the stars."A collective sigh rippled through the crowd, and Elder Orel chuckled softly before continuing his tale."But alas, love is never without its challenges," he said, his tone turning serious. "For you see, Eliza was the daughter of the village blacksmith, and my family, well, let's just say they had their reservations about our union."Accalia leaned in closer, her eyes shining with curiosity. "What did you do?" she asked eagerly.Elder Orel chuckled. "What any lovestruck fool would do, my dear," he replied. "I wrote her poems, serenaded her under the moonlight, and even challenged her father to a duel for her hand in marriage."A ripple of laughter erupted from the crowd, and even I couldn't help but crack a smile at the image of the usually stoic

His face bruised and bloodied, and his clothes covered in dried blood, he was still shivering, despite his cold exterior."What are you going to do with me?" He spat, spitting blood onto the floor of the dungeon."Well Ken Peterson , I'll give you an opportunity to answer a few of my questions and maybe I'll release you."Ken narrowed his eyes at me, "Why should I believe

FLORELLA'S POVI frowned as I watched the new model, Accalia walk into the studio. She had a radiant smile on her face and everything about her just screamed beauty and perfection, no flaws or imperfections in sight. Her hair was styled in perfect waves that framed her face beautifully, her makeup perfectly complimented her gorgeous olive brown orbs and bright pink lipstick. She looked good. So good! So incredibly good that she could probably win any contest she was in! I almost gasped in admiration as I saw how breathtaking she really looked.I hated how beautiful she was, I never understood why anyone could want to look like that, but she was definitely an exception. She had a unique personality that drew people to her in a different way than everyone else did.I hated the fact that she was pretty that me and could easily over take me in the modeling world, there was no way in hell I was going to let that happen. i have been bullying her for over two weeks since she came but she

ACCALIA'S POVAfter hours of modeling and posing for countless pictures, it was time for me to go home and rest before I had to return to the studio again for another day full of work. My clothes were all wrinkled and dirty after being used so many times for clothing shoots. But I was tired and hungry. So, with only mild hesitance, I walked out of the studio to head back home. my phone chimed and I looked at it and saw it was a text from Don asking me to use the back door of the company and meet him at the car park where he was waiting for me.I smiled weakly at the text before I took the elevator to the car park tiredly.I exited the elevator and walked out of the building and saw Don standing at the entrance of the parking lot, he waved as soon as he saw me approaching and headed over to the car to help me inside. Once I was seated, he walked around the car to the drivers seat."Where is everyone?" I asked curiously, noticing no cars."They had to go somewhere." Is all he told me.

ACCALIA'S POVI smiled as I dressed up for my first day at work, yes, my first day at work. I was so excited when Don told me to dress up today that I would resume work at his company as a model.I wanted to make a good first impression so I needed to dress up nicely. A white button down shirt and a black blazer were the two pieces of clothing I selected from my closet after I finished dressing in bed this morning. I also wore some light makeup but it wasn't much. Not too much, just enough to look like I hadn't slept with it all off last night. That made me think about something else - Don's lips... I shook my head trying to get rid of those thoughts.I brushed through my hair once more then applied one last coat of lip gloss before leaving my room, closing and locking the door behind me. I took a deep breath of air and exhaled deeply, hoping to calm myself before I headed down the stairs to meet Don."Good morning!" Don chirped happily when he saw me. I grinned back at him and walk

ACCALIA'S POVDon squeezed my hand reassuringly, his gaze filled with unwavering determination. "We can do this, Accalia," he said, his voice steady despite the tremble in his hands. "Together, we can face anything."With a heavy heart, I nodded in agreement, drawing strength from Don's unwavering faith in our future. As we boarded the bus and took our seats, I cast one last glance back at the village of Arinthia, its familiar streets now fading into the distance. And as the bus pulled away, carrying us towards an uncertain future, I knew that it was time to go back to my old life.As the bus journeyed towards the city, the landscape outside morphed from rolling hills to towering skyscrapers, a stark contrast to the quaint charm of Arinthia. With each passing mile, my heart grew heavier, the uncertainty of our future weighing heavily upon me.But as we finally arrived at our destination and stepped off the bus, a sense of anticipation tingled in the air. "It's okay, Accalia," he whispered, his voice gentle yet filled with unspoken sorrow. "We'll be alright."But the dam had already broken, and I could no longer hold back the flood of emotions that surged within me. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I buried my face in Don's chest, my heart aching with the pain of leaving behind everything I had ever known."It's just... so hard," I choked out between sobs, my voice muffled against Don's shirt. "Saying goodbye to everyone, to everything..."Don held me tighter, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I know, Accalia," he said, his voice thick with emotion. Kito had always been there for us, offering his help and support whenever we needed it, and the thought of saying goodbye to him was almost too much to bear.As we settled into the worn leather seats of Kito's truck, a heavy silence hung in the air, punctuated only by the soft hum of the engine. I glanced out the window, watching as the familiar sights of Arinthia faded into the distance, my heart aching with the weight of farewell. The ride to the bus stop was a somber one, the only sound the steady hum of the engine and the occasional sniffle from one of us. Kito tried to lighten the mood with some of his trademark jokes, but even he seemed to be struggling to find his usual cheerfulness. As we neared the bus stop, Kito pulled over and turned off the engine, the silence that followed almost deafening in its intensity.
