"Claim them as yours now that you still have the chances to do so! Make the Triplets yours and trust me, you won't regret it!"

The moment my father uttered those words, everything around me seemed to freeze.

The intensity of his statement yanked me out of my comfortable seat, causing my body to jolt with a mix of disbelief and hatred towards him.

"What?" The shock and anger in my eyes were evident as I tried to process the enormity of what he had just said.

How could this be? I couldn't understand the fact that my own father would make such a proposition to me.

I had come to see him for a different, more genuine reason, but it became evident that his intentions were far from noble.

"Don't make it look like such a big deal, Alex!" My heart raced, pounding heavily in my chest like a war drum as his words reverberated through my mind.
