CHAPTER FOUR

LEYSA’S POV

My brother-in-law and I were having breakfast when my sister arrived.

"Wow! I think you two are close already," she said as I returned her with a sweet smile.

Frederik stood up from his seat and kissed his beloved wife, my sister in front of me.

"I miss you, babe. Do you know that my whole night was so cold, because you are not by my side," my older brother said softly to my sister as if I was not here listening to them. Tsk.

"I don’t think so, babe. You seem to enjoy being with Leysa, hmm. Oh well, hello baby sis. I miss you, it’s been a year. How are you?" she said and approached my side to hug me and she sits in the seat next to me.

"I miss you too. Finally I'm back. I also missed the hot weather here in the Philippines, you know. By the way, how's your conference sis?" I asked as if I'm interested.

"Well it’s so tiring. I didn't even get much sleep there because of so many things to take care of." I just gave her a smile as a response. Oh well, who wouldn't get tired of flirting all night? Hmm.

"Ahh. Is that so sis. Anyways, you should be hungry, here and eat, brother-in-law and I cooked that. After you eat, take some rest, sis. And is it okay if your husband and I go to the grocery store, after?" I told her and she just nodded as a response.

She immediately took some food and consumed it. I noticed that my brother-in-law was looking at me and he seem wants to say something, so I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Ah... can we just go to the grocery store tomorrow, Leys? You know, I need to be with your sister today,” he said that made me frown. Gosh, tsk!

Frederik is so irritating! We already talked about it a while ago and have decided to go to the grocery today and then suddenly change of plans? Tsk.

"But brother! You agreed, didn't you? If you don't want to, I'll just go alone. Tsk," I annoyingly replied to him and got up from my seat to prepare to leave.

I stopped from making a step out of the kitchen when my sister spoke, "It’s all right babe, just go with Leysa, and accompany her. You know, she'll be upset with you and I wanted to sleep all day, that’s why we can't have babe time either," my sister softly said with a smile on her face. What a two-faced bitch!

"Okay. All right Leys, get ready and we will leave in a minute," my brother-in-law sighed and seemed to be forced to go with me and leave his wife alone in the house. But I don't care, as long as he chooses to go with me, so I turned around and smiled secretly.

FREDERIK’S POV

I am already in the car, waiting for Leysa who is still getting dressed. I am a little bit upset, because instead of accompanying my wife who just got home from a trip, and me not being too busy right now at work and I still have a lot of time that we can use to have quality time together, but then here I am, with my sister-in-law. Well, I just agreed earlier to accompany her in the grocery store because I thought Diana would come home late this afternoon. If I only knew that she would come home early today, I would not have agreed to join Leysa in the supermarket.

I am in that state of mind when I felt someone entered the passenger's seat of my car. I haven't looked at her yet but I can already smell the fragrant scent from her that spreads inside my car. And it was like an ecstacy that made me stop from thinking anything but just her beautiful face alone.

"Let's go, Fred,"Leysa said looking at me. And I suddenly felt lustful over her, shit! She was just wearing a simple white fitted shirt that curved perfectly to her sexy body and white shorts that showed her long, white legs. Just fuck! Suddenly it seemed to heat up here.

"So what now, brother-in-law? You will just stare at me?" I woke up from my fantasies when Leysa spoke.

I shrugged all my thoughts off me and didn't answer her. I just immediately started the car, leaving the garage.

The supermarket is far from the subdivision where we live, so we spent about an hour on the road. And that whole trip seemed suffocating for me because both of us are silent; no one wants to speak a word. Leysa probably got mad at me for deciding not to go with her a while ago if only Diana hadn't forced me to go.

She immediately got off when I parked my car in the parking space of the supermarket. That’s why I also went out quickly to catch up with her.

"Are you mad at me?" I grabbed her by the arm and asked.

She just looked at me and smiled, and removed the grip of my hand on her arm. And I felt like I was electrified when her soft palm touched my skin. Just what the f*ck?

"Of course not, Fred. I'm even grateful, because you chose to accompany me more than my sister. Isn't it great? You just choose your sister-in-law than to be with your wife," she sarcastically said that just made me silent for a while.

We are already walking inside the supermarket and I was just like a bodyguard following her. I even offered to push the cart but she refused and quietly roam around to find everything she needs.

We were at the hygiene station, she was getting a napkin, not a table napkin but the one that every women use every month, when three young men approached her. I'm a bit far from her place so I can't seem to be acknowledging that I am with her. But I can still hear what these idiots are saying to my sister-in-law.

"Hey beautiful, are you alone?" one of the boys asked. And I was just like --are you stupid? So what am I –a stand here? Isn't it obvious that I am with her? I can’t help but to say it on my mind.

I was just looking at them badly while waiting for Leysa’s response but she did not answer or mind them at all that made me unconsciously smile. And just continued choosing the right sanitary napkin she wanted. But the young men still following her, what the f*ck!

"Can we have a lunch date after you bought your groceries?" one asked Leysa again, but she still ignored them.

"You know Miss beautiful, we already noticed you earlier. You got our attention, especially my attention, because you are really gorgeous and sexy. You are an epitome of beauty and hotness. You are the woman I am looking for. You are a girlfriend material - can I court you?" What a jerk! I was about to approach them to choo them away from my sister-in-law when Leysa spoke holding a pack of sanitary napkin.

"Can you buy a sanitary napkin for a woman? Even if you are ashamed of it and would trample your pride as a man?" she asked them and they just shrugged in denial.

"You can't, and then you have the desire to ask me if you can court me. What if I will need this? You won't buy me one, because what? Are you ashamed? So boys, study first before flirting, okay. Tsk."

I laughed at what Leysa just said and she put the selected sanitary napkin in the cart and left. And I followed her immediately but when I passed by the young men who were flirting with Leysa earlier, I stopped in front of them and spoke.

"Don't you dare come near her again, you dumbasses," I said and pointed Leysa who was already going far away from where we were.

"Who are you to scold us like that?!" one of them arrogantly replied.

I just gave them a smirked, "She's my girl, idiots… my wife to be exact. So stop messing with her or else I sue you all." I don't know why I said that but it feels so right yet so wrong. And I think I am going crazy already.

So I just take a step, I left them and followed my sister-in-law, put my hand on her waist as if saying that this woman is just mine and mine alone.

She was surprised by the action I took but I just smiled at her and tightened the grip of my hand on her waist which she did not bother to take it off.

Shit! Just thinking her as my wife makes me hard –so hard, especially now that our bodies are so close to each other.
