I shut the door behind me with a heavy sigh, resting against the doorframe with my eyes shut, and my head raised to the ceiling. 

I've fought many times with Lucy, but I've never seen her angry like she was today. Honestly, I understand where she's coming from. I know she's only trying to look out for me, but just like I told her; she won't understand. She doesn't know the full story about Dave so of course, she doesn't understand. And I can't tell her either. 

It's Dave's secret to tell. Not mine. 

I move slowly from the doorframe, my eyes scanning across the living room, and wondering why the hell Vincent isn't at my throat already. 

"Vince, " I call as I stride towards the kitchen, tossing my bag pack to the couch on the eat. 

"Vince, " I call again, and receive no response, but the echoes of my voice.
