"You take care of yourself, and call me once you get home safely, okay?" Lucy proclaims with a smile, and I nod, waving her off. "You should go in now, it's already so late. " I giggle, jerking my head towards her house, and she nods, before stepping back, and shutting the door.
She stands before the car as Darren start the engine, and I watch with a sigh as her frame suddenly disappears.
"Home?" Darren asks from the front seat, interrupting my thoughts, and I look down at my thighs, fiddling with my fingers.
I should go home. Vincent will be so worried about me, and I know mother will too, but I do not want to go home.
