Chapter 6 :Who are you?
It's not like she's curious about him though. The only thing on her mind is how to get herself out of the trouble she's in. The cloud suddenly turned grey, showing that it was about to rain. Ava walked over to the veranda and sat on the floor. She watched as the rain began to pour. She watched as the raindrop touched the ground, making a faint sound. Her heat felt heavy. The only person she could consider her family was none other than Abigail. The girl always stood by her, no matter what the situation was. She's her backbone. She acted like her mother, her sister, and her guardian. Abigail always told her to quit working at the bar, but she wouldn't listen. She didn't want to pressure Abigail with her matter.
She also wanted to be a supportive friend but not a liability to her. She's not used to relenting on others before she can live. If not for Abigail. Her life would have been so lonely and miserable. There is no way Abigail will have ten million dollars. There is no way she can get the money. She didn't want to marry the old man. She would rather die than marry him. Or should she just commit suicide? This life is not worth living. Her life was filled with sadness and pain from the beginning. There is nothing blissful in her life. Just when she thought she had found the man of her life. He turns out to be her biggest enemy instead. She will make sure the bastards pay for what they did to her. Including her so-called family. She will make sure they all pay for it. There is no need to cry over spilled milk. They do not deserve her tears. They should be the ones crying instead. Not her. But first, she needed to get herself out of the mess she was in. She knows Andrew well. He is a notorious killer. He will never let her off the hook if they don't return the ten million dollars the Smith family collected from her. And she knows her adoptive parents well. They will never pay back the money and this will surely land her in trouble. The only thing she has to do now is to find out how to get the money. She tried her best not to shed any more tears. She needed to stop crying so she could think straight. That's what she needed right now, not something else. Should she go and meet the manager of where she works? Will he be able to lend her the money? No. He would never lend her money. He is a wicked and selfish man who only cares about himself alone. She's sure he will never lend her the money. A frustrated sigh escaped her lips. She didn't know what to do and this got her worried even more. She opened her bag and decided to tell Abigail that she was in her place. She's the only one she could talk to anyway. All her savings are just seventy thousand dollars. She's so annoyed and frustrated at the same time. Just as she took out her phone. Her eyes suddenly caught a note and a black card. The man she spent the night with said she should contact her whenever she needed his help, right? And the room looks like a VIP room. He must probably be rich. He will be able to afford ten million dollars, right? A smile suddenly broke on her face. She kissed the black card immediately. Thank God she didn't throw the card away. Who would have known it would be of great help to her? The man will surely give her the money. He promised to help her anyway. She quickly punches in the number on the card on her phone. She was so excited that she almost screamed out for joy. One would doubt she's the one that her boyfriend broke up with a moment ago. She dialed the number and held her breath while waiting for the man to pick up the call. A feminine voice suddenly came from the other end of the line that the person was not answering. A sigh escaped her lips and her face fell instantly. She decided to call him again, but the answer was still the same. The man is not picking up. She was so disappointed that she almost smashed her phone to the ground. But when she remembered, that was the only phone she had. She refrained herself from doing so. She dragged some air into her lungs and mumbled in a low breath "Just last time. I won't call him again after this. " He dialed his number again and, fortunately, he answered the call after one ring. "Hello." A deep masculine voice came from the other end of the line. It sounded so sexy and alluring. Ava widened her eyes in shock. She checked the phone again to be sure she wasn't mistaken. The man finally answered the call. She was so excited that she was at a loss for words for a moment. "Who are you?" The man's voice came from the other line again, pulling Ava out of her fantasy. She cleared her throat. "Hello, please do you still remember me?" She said expectantly. Trying her best not to sound too excited. "The virgin girl?" Ava's cheeks turned red instantly when the man mentioned the virgin girl. Must he refer to her that way? "Yeah, you are right." She managed to reply. Her face was still red, and she fanned her face with her hand. "You said I should call you." "Do you need my help?" The man's cold voice came from the other end of the line. "Yes, I do need your help." She replied hastily. Must she need his help before she can call him? And he sounded very cold. She wondered what the grumpy man looked like. "Send me your address." With that, he ended the callChapter 200- SacrificeSniper pulled Jarvis' body down into the room as Lilly and Sophia stared at it.“Who's the intruder?” Lilly asked“I do not recognize him,” Sniper said.“Wait,he looks familiar,” Sophia said as she walked closer.“Jarvis?” Sophia said as she saw his face.Ava, who was half conscious, heard the name as she struggled to get up. She could barely see with one eye as she wondered in her heart if Jarvis was one of them.“You know this Jarvis guy? What is he doing like a stray dog in my space?” Lilly asked with a frown.“As they say, they are only friends but I know they are much more than that” Sophia replied.“Ahh isn't he the one who went viral on the news for hanging around her?” Lilly asked as Sophia nodded in disgust.“Find a way to wake the fool up, perhaps they were meant to die together” Lilly ordered.Sniper nodded as they slapped Jarvis up out of unconsciousness.Jarvis felt he was being electrocuted on his cheek but when he opened his eyes, there was no f

He was looking forward to a very beautiful afternoon with her.He fell back In his swivel chair as he spinned around. Then a thought struck him, what if she was in danger. Ava only left with security when she was forced to.Damien grabbed his phone as he made a few calls and rushed out with his car keys. His mind raced as feedback returned immediately.“We've located the area of her phone and car, they seem to be in the same place” The voice spoke through the phone.“I am on my way there” Damien said as he immediately went back and headed for the new destination they had sent him.“We'd be heading towards there as well” The voice said as the call ended.Damien focused on the road with his heart pumping fast. The area where the car and phone was located, was a place outside the town. People called it the outskirts but it was just

Chapter 196- Jarvis confession Damien's phone beeped as his assistant alerted him on the time.He was running late and would address the issue once he was back.He placed the needle inside one of his jewelry boxes as he stepped out.Ava was yawning on the bed when he stepped out. The love of his life, she was looking so beautiful.“Are you off to work already!” Ava asked as she saw him all dressed up.“Yes,but I'd call you once I'm done with the meeting” Damien said.“Oh do have a great day then” Ava said.Damien nodded as he kissed her lightly before rushing out.Ava climbed out of the bed as soon as he left when Sophia barged in.“Ava I found where Jarvis will be today” She said with excitement.“What am I supposed to do with his location?” Ava askedSophia's face changed instantly.“Seriously, I thought we spoke about this yesterday night, you need to reunite with your friends and you have to start from Jarvis or do you want them absent when you give birth?” Sophia asked.Ava loo

Besides, when did you both merge your rooms?” Sophia asked“Today, do you like it?” Ava asked as Damien was done with her hair and proceeded to clean the brush.“It is pretty but then we can't have our girls talk with a man in the picture” Sophia said with a slight frown“Oh don't worry we can always discuss in your room” Ava said as she got up “Are you leaving me behind?” Damien asked as Ava walked away.“Isn't it obvious?” Ava replied as she closed the door.“I brought new s
