Chapter 19: The Sharp Pain Hannah: It was the soon-to-be Alpha, Harry. I froze in place; I knew I wasn’t supposed to be there. I wondered what the punishment for trespassing was. He only looked at me with a questioning gaze before he asked, “What are you doing here?” When he asked, I gestured for my phone in my pocket. It was my tool for communication at the moment, and he realized what I was going for. “Oh! Yes, of course, go ahead.” It was like he forgot I couldn’t speak. I reached for my phone from my pocket, opened the notepad on it, and began to type. I would have sent him messages, but I didn’t have his number, and I didn’t think it’d be necessary because none of my chores ever took me around him. “I’m sorry; I know I’m not supposed to be here.” I turned the phone towards him so he could read it. I had an apologetic look. I was scared—not that Harry had ever done anything to make me feel afraid of him, but past experiences had shown me that people in power always tend to
Chapter 20: Crazy? Hannah: The pain I felt was sharp and quick; the minute it came, it went. I had told Tyrell not to worry because it wasn't something worth worrying about. The pain had subsided, and now I lay on my bed, clutching my head. I lost track of time while reading one of the books I had gotten from the library as I waited for Cleo. I was always stuck on the same page. My mind wandered off. The pain wasn’t normal; I had also heard a small voice, but I couldn’t be too sure as the pain was awful. This wasn’t the first time I had felt something like this. The portrait I observed earlier today, I had the first one there, although it was a bit minute. Turning the pages of my book every five minutes, my mind drifted to something different with each turn. It was dark out by this time. I had waited for Cleo to show up, but later got a text that she wouldn’t be able to make it. She said that if she were to get off work, it would be too late, and she wanted me to get some sleep
Chapter 21: Whose Party? Hannah: I still had massive headaches. They only came once in a while. I was disappointed when the only thing we found in the library was that I must be crazy—psychotic, even. There was nothing that could explain the pain, coupled with the voices I heard. The day was a normal one, like any other. I did my chores and served Luna Freya. She had finally called upon me, but it was just to get her some tea. I entered the kitchen, wanting to prepare the tea, but then I was met with an unexpected visitor. Although we all lived in the same house, I always tried to avoid certain people. One was right there in the kitchen. I couldn't avoid her this time. The Luna needed her tea quickly. I hid beside the entrance. "Oh, don't be like that, Hannah. Come in," Ayra spoke, chuckling a bit and I felt a chill run down my spine. I felt embarrassed that I had been caught hiding from her. I walked into the kitchen, nodding to her as I began to prepare the Luna's tea. I alr
Chapter 22: A Disturbing Smell Hannah: I was quickly taken aback by the sudden turn of events—one minute I'm tailing Tyrell, and the next minute, I'm being dragged. My heart was already all the way at my throat as I realized if something happened to me, I wouldn't be able to call out for help, this thought scared me even more and I began regretting why I had come out in the first place. I struggled and fought in the person's grip, thrashing to make it difficult for them as they dragged me to a specific spot behind a tree before letting me go. I guess my plan worked since they were not reluctant to free me. When I turned around, however, I came face to face with Tyrell and understood why I was easily let go in the first place. How is it that the one I was tailing was now the one holding me in place? It made absolutely no sense. It was a big change. In my mind, I thought I would be killed by now, so I breathed a sigh of relief that it was only him. His hands were still on my mouth,
Chapter 23: Looming Danger Hannah: The odor had finally gone as we made our way back to the pack house. Tyrell said he didn’t perceive anything, which was weird because he was a werewolf, and I hadn’t even turned yet. I was going to ask how he knew that guy, but I thought I’d already pushed too much for one night. He wouldn’t appreciate it. And then there was the almost kiss. Now, I wished that guy had never shown up. What was I thinking? He was not my mate, so why would he want me anyway? We walked in silence while I got lost in my own thoughts. I almost didn’t hear his question. “Are you okay?” I nodded to answer his question as we continued our trek to the pack house. The walk back felt shorter than when we had first come. He had a really good sense of direction—I would have gotten lost if I had been alone in these woods. The silence stretched on after that. Maybe it was earlier before that guy interrupted... Maybe he was thinking about it too. It felt good to imagine that he
Chapter 24: Hunters Hannah: "Hunters." The word drove a cold shiver down my spine. What I had heard about them were nightmares. It would be better if you died than get captured by one of them. They had been at Raven Falls Pack a long time ago, and they picked up a few werewolves at the time. Alpha Jaxon was able to subdue them, and we never heard of them again, nor did we hear of the two werewolves that were abducted. From passing in the Raven Falls Pack, it was said that these hunters captured werewolves for experiments, to know what made us move fast, what made us heal fast, what made us have more social ability than they do, and in general, what made us shift. They've been at it since the days a handful of them discovered our existence. I looked frantically around, trying to spot any of them. They were still behind the tree lines, shrouded in darkness as their cover. I couldn't see them, as my eyesight was basically like a human's, but I'm guessing both Cleo and Tyrell could
Chapter 25: Suspicions Hannah: I wasn’t expecting a scream at all. It came as a surprise. I had thought that I might never use my voice again, but I was purely mistaken. My scream was just the unexpected distraction that was needed. When the shot fired was maneuvered by Tyrell, it hit the hunter behind him. He stared at me for only a second before going back to fighting, taking out more hunters as he went. He was probably surprised that I had used my voice for the first time. I looked towards Cleo. She was being held by one of the hunters, a dagger pressed against her neck. I tried stepping forward in fear for her—not like I could do anything—but I was held back by the leader. The man tutted before saying, “Now, now, don’t get too emotional. It’ll be done swiftly.” He assured me, which only made me want to cry. I tried using my voice once more, but nothing came out. Tyrell was too preoccupied with his own battle to help Cleo. She was all on her own. At that moment, I thought s
Chapter 26: Tyrell Tyrell: The Alpha had postponed the meeting for some reason, and it really shocked everyone who thought this was an urgent matter that needed to be addressed immediately. His reasons were that he needed everyone to rest up and have their heads cleared out. It was morning time now, and I had just finished up my workout. I was headed for the pack house when I got information that all those who were present directly during the attack should be at the meeting as well. That means Cleo and Hannah are to be there. I was sure Cleo would have already gotten the message as well, but there's a chance Hannah wouldn't have gotten it. Maybe I should just drop by; if she's still in, then we can just go together, I thought. I entered the pack house, which seemed to be really more often than I usually did. Normally, I would just stay at my own house, but different events had made me come in here. I sighed before I passed by the stairs that led to the bottom and made my way to
TWO YEARS LATER Hannah: It's been two years now and things have changed for the better, the pack was much more lively than before and perfectly safe from any known harm.I spent more time with my mother and father who had stepped down for Harry to take over which was the plan before. Everyone was okay with this, especially Luna Arya, she was the happiest, it's what she had wanted from the very beginning. She was happy, she didn't have a problem with either me or my mother, this was mainly because my mother wasn't willing to take the title of Luna even until now.I supported her decision the whole way, and so did my father.Harry has been doing a wonderful job as the Alpha. Well, I expected nothing less from someone who had been training since they were young.Cleo hadn't yet found her mate, so she decided to choose one, a man named Enoch. He was from a visiting pack for an alliance. He and Cleo got really close and he decided that he wanted to stay rath
Bryan:It's been a few weeks since the death of my father. Immediately after his funeral, there was the ceremony for me to be the next alpha, since then I've been running the pack. It's been quite stressful, but if I don't do it, I'll let my pack be susceptible to attacks, it would make us vulnerable. It was early in the morning, and my mother and I were seated in my office which I had to rearrange, let some light in, and move some things to my liking. My mother has been of great help in running the pack. She looked happier, and more free, and made me thank the moon goddess for what she had done, even though that would make me a bad son for wishing his father dead.We were talking about how we were going to open up the west wing, as well as those tunnels. I had thought to keep them open but now that she brought it up, my mind wasn't made up yet."I'm just saying, what if something happens, and there's a need for us to hide or retreat, it'll be an excellent escape route if we were ever
Tyrell:While I informed Alpha Daniel about our little adventure out of the pack lands, Hannah had excused herself and walked over to where Timothy stood. I couldn't take my eyes off her, or rather I didn't want to, but the alpha always called my attention back.I don't think he knows that his Daughter and I are in a relationship. I'll have to talk about it with Hannah first, but I'm definitely sure her mother did."Well since everything turned out okay, we can finally throw a feast in celebration," the alpha suggested as he scooted to sit with his mate. "We were meant to have it when we had avoided bloodshed with the Raven Falls pack, but since the stars of the show weren't there we just had to wait until you all came back."Luna Melissa smiled as she cuddled closer to Alpha Daniel, they were truly mates, something I wished for Hannah and I to have in the future."Maybe something small perhaps," Hannah said as she joined in on the conversation sitting beside me with just enough space
Hannah:After escaping from hunters, a few days of running, and stopping to hunt for food, we finally reached the pack house. I was so happy that we were finally back in our home, in our land. When we approached the pack house, my father and mother were already by the doors. When he saw us coming, he ordered for clothes to be brought for usIt was a long way here, we had to shift to our full forms to be faster for us to arrive.I threw on the large hoodie I was given before I ran into my Mom's embrace, she had tears streaming down her face as she held me in her arms, and my father came around as well and joined in.My family, the one thing I had wanted ever since I was young, and here they were surrounding me, I finally pulled away, and my mother used her backhands to wipe the tears from her face before she checked me, turning my face from side to side as she sniffed, "Your okay, your okay, your home now," she said before pulling me in for another hug.I really could get used to this.
Naomi:I heard more noises outside, I went to step out when they opened fire, and I fell to the ground immediately with my hands over my head as they continued to shoot. There was an intense pain in my leg and I knew I sprained an ankle while going down.I wondered what the hell was wrong with my brother, was his hate for werewolves greater than the life of his own sister?I stayed on the ground until the shooting finally stopped. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? DID MY SISTER COME OUT OF THERE? WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO FIRE?" I heard my brother's voice, Nathan, rage from outside.Well at least I knew he still cared for me, this brought a smile but only a little as I never really forgave him for what he did a year ago.Who would have thought the daughter of the leader of werewolf hunters would actually fall in love with a werewolf?"Sir, two of our men went in but we've been unable to reach them…" One of his men said, his voice was noticeably shaking but slightly."And tha
Tyrell:I examined Hannah frantically as she laid in my arms, she was sweating but she insisted she was okay even though there was a bullet lodged into her abdomen."Here, let me see," Cleo rushed and knelt beside me before she took over haha while I hovered over her shoulder.Hannah grunted, "You guys, I'm fine, we just need to get out of here," she said before she tried to stand but gritted her teeth while Cleo helped her back down."We need to remove the bullet, if not you're gonna be feeling the pain a lot more," Cleo stated. "We need a little bit of time, if we leave now in her state, and we won't get far." "It's a silver bullet, if you don't remove it now she might die, as backup would soon be here, believe me, if they do get here, then there's no leaving for anyone," Naomi bit out as she lifted the curtains slightly and peeked out the window.I calmed down only a bit, since it was silver, then we have less problem to worry about, that would be that there's still a bullet lodge
Hannah:We didn't sleep for long, less than two hours when we were woken up by Cleo, apparently, we had to watch the news or something. The sun was badly up no more.Tyrell stood up and helped me up as well before we exited the bedroom and walked into the living room.Cleo and Timothy were standing when she pointed at the TV.I glanced at the TV and instantly understood her panic. We were on it, all three of us at least.I mean it would be weird if they didn't capture a scene like that but I didn't think they would broadcast it.We were at the playground where we attacked Donovan, that was where they captured us, there were a few more pictures of mostly Donovan but then us as well before they were done. Our faces were a bit blurry, but if you knew who we were, you'd probably know that's us. Naomi came up on the screen next, she looked frantic but still kept her composure as she answered the interviewer's questions."So you say you're a journalist right, what would you be writing about
Hannah:I wanted to watch as everything burnt to the ground, but Naomi insisted that we leave because her hunter family might be showing up anytime soon.Tyrell pulled me by the arm and Cleo followed after us, the fire ragged on wildly into the sky behind us as we made our way out of there. We heard noises coming from down the road."Quickly, you need to leave, they are already here," Naomi pleaded, her eyes dancing frantically between us and down the road. What was that look on her face, why did she fear that something bad might happen, and why did she care?"You guys go ahead, I'll stall them off, but you need to hurry," she urged us.I didn't really have anything to say, but Tyrell did, "Thank you for all your help until we meet again," he said goodbye to her, and so did Cleo.I guess I was the only one who was uncomfortable with her presence.Tyrell looked at her confused for a minute before we were on our way, leaving Naomi behind. I wanted to ask Tyrell why he trusted her so muc
Hannah:After confirming that Donovan was finally dead, I breathed in deeply, there was no longer a threat on Mother's life, nor mine. There was a sense of relief that washed over me, I stood back up and I felt warm hands wrap around me from behind, "It's over, it's finally over," Tyrell whispered into my ear. His husky breath tickled a bit, and the fabric of his shirt came in contact with my bare skin."He was the only person left who knew I was a silver blood, as well as my mother," I said quietly just to Tyrell although I knew Cleo must have heard.Tyrell replied, "That's good then, the rest only know that a white wolf was roaming in the woods, according to the orders he probably gave to them. As long as you can stay off their radar for a little while, they'll lose interest and everything will go back to normal." He placed a soft kiss behind my ears before someone's voice broke our tranquility.Naomi stepped up, "This seems really lovely, and I'd hate to break such a wonderful coup
