PRESENT 2015

"What are you up to Maria when we leave here?" Cindy asked. 

"Stripper as always, the show must go on." she answered while arranging things with Kitty. 

Kitty and Cindy met a decent man who accepted their past. They met two men and they’re brothers. 

“How I wish they had a third brother for me.” Maria laughed and then she sighed. 

“Don’t worry, you will find a guy who will love you.” Cindy said.

“But Maria needs a rich man! Don’t you remember? She still has a bank debt!” Kitty uttered.

“It’s okay, sooner or later. I will meet the guy with a handsome face and wallet!” Maria laughed and Cindy struck her out. These were the  two people who rescued Maria from scratch. Even though they influence her to be a stripper. Still, they gave her a new life and new hope to live. 

“We actually have plans to study again. Although we are old, I really wanted to finish my college life as a Hotel and Restaurant Management student.” Cindy Said.

“Me too! I really want to become aRegistered Nurse!” Kitty said with a happy aura.

“We will find a scholarship offer, so that you will still continue your college degree. We want you to have a better life Maria.” Kitty said.

“Don't be complacent in your life right now. We know that you really wanted to be a Journalist or a Writer.” Cindy uttered and she touched Maria’s hair. 

“You are like a sister to me, Maria.” Kitty hissed.

“Thank you for giving me hope. But I’m now contented with my work now. I’m still saving money for the bank debt of my parents. I still need to earn money in order to find my youngest brother.” Maria Said. 

Cindy and  Kitty hugged her, they pity the situation of Maria’s life.  They always see her life in downside. They never saw Maria doing what she really wanted. 

“My Mommy’s house and lot is my focus right now,” Maria added.

“We know that your father is a dick head demon! Because of being greedy, you’ve been suffering for many years without your brother,” Cindy said in an angry tone.

“Don’t worry, you will still find your Brother! Don’t you remember? Both of you are wearing the same locket necklace! Just don’t get lost your one and only key to  find your missing brother,” Kitty uttered to Maria. 

They hugged Maria again and honestly, Maria is so sad. She will live and be alone in the house.  They have always been together in the same house for many years. And now that the three of them will live separated for good. These two girls are her diary on everything that happens in her life.

In the evening, her two friends left their house because they had resigned as a stripper for good. Maria was the only one who left as the ‘Showgirl Star’. “He has a brother Maria. Do you want him to be ‘your brother?” Robby laughed and Maria smiled.

“Actually, we are not on good terms. It’s not actually a close friend that you expect. We are a rival, because his family and I are mortal enemies. Just like in business. I do not consider him as an enemy. If only for me, but when I’m with my parents there must be a competition.” Robby Said.

Maria nodded.

 “Then, what’s the reason behind the competition?” Maria asked Robby.

“About business and personal stuff. “ He answered. 

When she actually finished her work. She just hung out inside the twenty four hours convenience store to ate an ice cream. It was twelve o’clock in the midnight and she was still there. She did not want to go home because she doesn't want to see her friends leaving her alone in the house. Suddenly, she sneezed as she chilled on the third ice cream she was eating.

“You didn’t get drunk earlier Sir? With the amount you drank? Maria asked him out of curiosity. 

“Nope, look I’m drinking blue volt energy drink so that their will be no hangover tomorrow. Anyway, why are you still here? Do you have plans to live here forever?” He laughed and Maria smiled.

 “No, I’m just waiting for someone to leave.” She answered.

“Ah, boyfriend?” Robby asked.

“No, my friends. They will leave because they will start to build their own family.” Sh answered. Robby nodded. 

“How about you? Why are you still here?” Maria’s question to Robby. 

“I just saw you, you look tired and sad. If you don’t mind, do you want to come and join me?” He asked.

“Mister, I have a high value of talent fee if I will come and join you,  Robby.” Maria laughed.

“Oh, okay. Fine, I will pay you. Let’s go?” Robby held her hand. He pulled her up and they rode on top of his sports car.

“Wait, you just called me mister? You don’t even recall my name?” Robby looked at her. 

“I’m sorry, because I knew a lot of men. I can’t even memorize their names.” Maria laughed and Robby shook his head.

A few moments later…

“Wow! A tree house here in Antipolo?” Maria asked Robby. She obviously looked amazed with the cozy house for the exterior design. 

“Yup.” he answered. 

“You can sleep here, don’t worry I will pay your price.”  He said and reached out the red wine with Maria.

 “Wow, how sweet Robby.” Maria drank the red wine. When Robby drank the red wine, he sat down on the sofa in the living room.  Maria went out of the house and sat outside Robby’s Veranda. Maria saw a guitar and wiped it before tuning the guitar. 

“It would be a pity if you were not used.” Maria picked it up and started to tune the guitar. 

“When will I be a writer? If maybe, the first story that I will write, will be my life. My melancholia Life.” Maria started strumming the guitar. She felt sad because she could not reach what she really wanted to be. There were many obstacles for her before she would do what she really wanted. Only a piece of paper and notepad was the only thing she used to write her thoughts. 

She stopped singing because she took the ballpen inside her bag. The music note, she drew on her foot and this is what she thought to do. 

“This will be my first tattoo.” She sighed. 

“Hey Maria.” Maria was surprised by the voice of Robby who called her. 

“Can you not be surprised? The young man was pleased with her and stepped aside on its chair. 

“Please  continue singing. I love your voice.” The guy said. Maria was embarrassed and did not know if she would even continue what she was playing.

During their stay the whole night. The morning reached the two outside the house. She hopes that when she returns home, her friends will be gone or she will not be able to reach her friends leaving the house.

“WAIT! What if the check bounces? I need cash for assurance, Robby.” Maria chased him.
