Chapter 35 : Good Treatments

That morning Hoper found it strange that Riel was already busy in the kitchen. He asked the chef to prepare the food early in the morning.

"For who?" asked Hoper. He knew Sera didn't like eating too early and had no guests. There was only one thing he could think of. But that didn't seem possible.

"For the slave," Riel replied shortly, carrying the tray of food away from the kitchen.

Hoper frowned. "Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes," Riel answered, being cautious because there were several servants around them.

"Why didn't you ask the servants to bring it?" asked Hoper quietly.

"Don't you know what happened to the last servant who came to Ms. Dumitrese's room?" asked Riel, reminding Hoper of the servant Sera killed.

Hoper sighed. "I'll do it. You have many things to do, right? Leave that to me," said Hoper.

Riel refused. "Go with James to prepare a place in the back garden."

Hoper paused, staring back in surprise. "What for?"

"Ms. Dumitrese told me to prepare it. She wanted to take Amos
