DINNER NIGHT

Luna was waiting for her brother and father to come home soon in the living room while walking from one corner to other like a nervous kitten.

Natalie tried to approach Luna, "dear, it looks like, your dad and brother is busy today, why don't you go for dinner tomorrow or anyother day?"

Mary also joined her mother, "you know right Luna, how the schedule of them, you can't force them out of a sudden, moreover you've to learn to respect their busy schedule too."

Luna knows very well that there is nothing important than her according to her brother and father, still she doesn't want to continue listening their nagging, so Luna simply went back to her room for sometime until her father and brother returns.

Thinking that their plan succeeded, Mary and Natalie looked joyful, Natalie smirked, "look baby, didn't I told you, that fool is always in our palms to play? You're worried for nothing."

Mary sighed, "I feel some relief mom but I don't know whether it's only me or my thoughts, I felt like she watched me with some kind of grudges in her eyes, those eyes watched me as blaming me for something, moreover her strange behavior in the morning passed shiver in my spine."

Natalie caressed Mary's hair, "don't be worried dear, she'll never be able to escape from our clutches, though she acts as brat sometimes still she is someone who must be under your feet, all you've to do is getting the interest of that rich man, so that we can be happy always."

Mary laughed, "sure mother, I'll do anything to ruin that bitch, but onething."

"What's that?" Natalie looked worried, Mary said, "she is not in college today, few of my friends said that she left with that Susan, earlier she never liked Susan but today she skipped college and went with her, I suspect that Susan is behind the change of Luna."

"Then break that trust and bond" Natalie suggested, "if you feel someone is in your way, don't wait for an opportunity just a create an opportunity to get rid of them, if not get her in your side by creating misunderstandings, that's it."

Mary hummed, and thinking about how to get Susan to join her, that's when Zayn cameback and asked the maid, "where is Luna? Did she get ready?"

Mary interrupted before the maid to answer, "Luna is in her room brother, maybe she doesn't want to go for dinner anymore."

For a second Zayn's heart ached thinking that his sister became cold just like in the past.

That's when Natalie came out from the room, "Mary don't say that to your brother, Luna is still a kid, skipping college for one day is not a big deal, how can you say that to your brother?"

Mary acted innocent, "mom, I didn't told about it, how can you say that in front of brother?" Natalie said, "oh dear! Please forgive me, it's my mistake not to teach Luna properly, from now I'll teach Luna properly not to skip college, don't be angry with her."

"Angry, my foot, why would I be angry with my princess? Who cares if she skips going college or even drop out from the college? She is my angel and she can do anything," Zayn sighed within himself, he looked helpless and in pain thinking that his sister doesn't want to be with them anymore again.

Holding back the tears in his eyes, Zayn tried to act strong, but they heard a voice, "bro when did you comeback?"

Zayn noticed Luna coming down from stairs, he finally felt as he can take a breathe, Zayn mumbled, "just now" Luna smiled, "sorry bro, I made you wait, actually I was waiting for you and dad but I went upstairs thinking that you both are busy as mother and sister said, I got a call from friend and been talking to her, but hearing to your voice I ran downstairs."

Glaring at both Natalie and Mary, Zayn said, "we are not busy if it's for you, don't listen to anyone, dad said he'll come directly to the restaurant, I'm here to pick you up, shall we go?"

Luna hugged his hand with a smile, "why don't you freshup first bro? Atleast wash your face and have some water before we leave" he held her hand, "no need, let's go."

Saying that he took her along with him, Natalie and Mary stomped their foot out of frustration.

Luna sat in the car while thinking, "thank God, I heard brother's voice and came at the right time, if not those bitches might've ruined everything again."

Zayn didn't start the car, Luna noticed his hands shivering on the steering, caressing his shoulder Luna looked worried, "bro are you okay?"

Zayn shook his head as no, "I'm not, I'm not okay Luna."

She noticed tears in his eyes clearly, by cupping his cheeks Luna asked, "what happened bro?"

He hugged her tight while crying, "I'm scared Luna, I'm scared like hell thinking you turned cold as before when I heard you went back to the room, I thought you don't want to be with us again, deep inside I felt the pain of getting stabbed again and again, the pain of your ignorance is vulnerable Luna, I don't want it again, so."

Before letting him to continue, Luna coaxed him, "shhhhh bro, don't cry, it's all my mistake for behaving foolishly, I swear I'll never do the same, as long as I'm alive, I'll be by your side always, I love you bro, I love you and dad so much, please trust me I'll never do it again, I realized how foolish I'm until before, now I'll no longer do the same, please bro, don't be sad, it hurts me."

Zayn hummed and kissed on Luna's forehead, Luna giggled, "if you don't trust me still, then I'll sleep in your room tonight" Zayn asked, "are you serious?"

Luna pouted, "don't you like it?" Zayn laughed, "even if you sleep daily in my room, I'll not be bothered, infact I'll love it."

"Then okay I'll sleep daily in your room" Luna said with a smile while Zayn smiled back, "sure my dear little angel."

He started driving the car to restaurant, while fidgeting her fingers Luna asked, "aren't you going to ask why I skipped college today?"

Zayn laughed hard, "don't tell me you're asking me this for real, are you?" Luna pouted, Zayn explained, "oh little princess, don't be angry dear, it's just I'm not taking it serious because its common, I used to do same with my friend, even now I'll skip going to company and goes to meet my friend, so I won't be angry with you, as long as you're happy, you can do anything, I'll be supportive towards your decisions."

Luna kissed on Zayn's cheeks, "my brother is best in this world, I love you so much."

Zayn smiled with extreme happiness, after a while they reached the restaurant and noticed the whole restaurant being empty, "bro are you sure, that we came to right restaurant?"

Zayn laughed, "ofcourse princess, I think it's our father who is behind everything" Luna looked confused, the staff took them inside, a large hall with enchanting lights, candles it looked like a perfect candle dinner.

Their dad is already waiting for them, Luna ran towards him, "dad" he caressed her hair, "did you like it princess?" Luna smiled, "I loved it" Zayn came near them.

Luna said, "I'll be back, I gotta use restroom" saying that Luna went away in embarrassment, while Robert smiled and looked at Zayn, "what made you late?" Zayn explained everything while sitting on the chair.

Robert sighed, "they'll die in my hands for sure" Zayn said, "don't be hasty dad, right now Luna is understanding everything I'm sure, there is something in her mind, let her do in her own way."

Robert hummed, that's when Luna came, "looks like both of you are discussing something serious" Zayn laughed, "unnecessary business things, don't worry."

Luna smiled while sitting beside her father, they served all her favorite items, while they're eating the dinner, Zayn teased his father, "dad do you know what, from today Luna is going to sleep in my room, she said she likes me the most."

Robert clenched his fist, "I think it's time for your business trip, why don't I plan one for you specially?"

"Dad you can't do this" Zayn shouted, while Robert smirked, "I can do anything to monopolize my daughter's love."

Luna laughed, "don't do be harsh to him, I'm the one who said I'll sleep in his room, if not why don't we do like this? Let's three of us sleep in your room together, how about this?"

"Its good, but do we really need this brat in our room?" Robert sighed, while Luna smiled, "ofcourse we need him" Zayn smirked while Robert rolled his eyes.

The dinner night passed with extreme happiness filled laughter and giggling.
