CHAPTER 59

AVA:

I slightly pushed Diana aside and went in to run outside. My legs carried me to where there was a commotion.

I couldn't help but come down on my knees when I saw the lifeless body of the little girl I loved so much.

I regretted that I wasn't there when Aria died. I could have simply protected that adorable girl I loved and treated like my daughter.

But how could I have known that something like this would happen and to say that it happened while I was away was quite pathetic.

Tears filled my eyes and I let them pour in torrents. I cried and cried and couldn't be consoled.

I went closer to my Aria and bent towards her. I caressed her cheeks as I stared at her blood flowing fresh from her head and almost all parts of her body.

"She fell to her death. I've always known that the Alpha's place might not be the safest for a little girl like her." A woman made a comment that caught my attention and I geared my head a little to the right to be able to hear more.
