"Who do you work for, huh?" Discord seized Ava by the neck. The latter coughed, pretending to be weak and vulnerable...and weak like every other girl would do.

Her eyes glanced once more at the yellow flash drive that lay at the top of the dressing drawer. That was pretty right. He hadn't caught Ava gawking at the prize piece. He was simply suspecting of her.

Ava would have entertained him, but then, she had no time. She needed to get the flash drive and get the hell out of here and fast too.

Discord was a smart man and he had been on this business for so many years. He wasn't going to let anyone outsmart him or it would be a slight to him. Not especially Ava whom he didn't know what her mission was.

Reaching for her hair, he tucked it behind her ears on both sides.
