CHAPTER 100

AVA:

Leo has taught me how to defend myself when I was in a position like this, but he dared to die on me. The mere fact that Leo wasn't alive, ringing in my head rendered me immobile and helpless.

Like I had told him before, Leo was my strength and the reason why I felt so good. He was the reason why I never succumbed and now, this?

What was I supposed to do when Leo died? Would I still have the strength to live?

So I lay down there, watched, and did nothing when Damien kept coming closer. Just as his finger was about to touch me, he fell backward, someone had hit him from behind.

Immediately, I got up and lo and behold, Leo was behind him. The arrow was still fixed in his chest area.

"Leo!" I screamed and rushed to Leo, but before I could move so much, Leo collapsed on his knees. I was beside him the next second when I held his hand as he was about to collapse with the arrow still there.

"Please hold on, and you'll be okay," I said trying hard to wrap my arms around the bloody area.
