Chapter 75

GINA'S POV

I watched him from the shadows with my heart pounding in my chest. Nobody knew this but I had watched him for months, studied him, learned every bit of his behavior.

I had managed to get a maid to slip a strong aphrodisiac into his drink and give it to him. The blend was strong enough to take down even the strongest Lycan, for a while at least. I smiled as I thought of how powerful I would be if this plan worked out in the end.

The door was slightly open and the hallways were empty so I took the opportunity to watch him through the small space. As he drained the last of his drink, I could see the effects starting to take hold. I could tell his vision was getting blurry due to how narrow his eyes were now. He gripped the table, trying to steady himself.

He was mine now.

This was perfect. The drink had worked. And now, it was show time.

Silently, I entered the room and closed the door behind me. He looked up at me, and for a split second, there was confusion in his eyes.
