Mitch followed Cassie’s gaze towards Jim, and he chuckled when he realized what Cassie had just witnessed. “Now do you believe me?” He asked and Cassie nodded her head. It took another ten minutes for Mitch's healing to kick in. Cassie watched again in awe as Mitch's wounds vanished.

“I should leave you two to talk and Cassie, I apologize for what happened earlier,” Jim said. “Now to go deal with Miss Nana. I will have to compensate for the damages we caused.” Jim hurried up the hill towards the house. His charm was so intense that Nana couldn't resist him. The police never showed, which was typical.

Jim handed Nana the cheque and Nana couldn't stop smiling at the many zeros. She probably could buy three new houses with that amount. She offered Jim a plate of ackee and saltfish with boiled bananas, dumplings, and yellow yam.
