"Do you think that will work this time, Baby Brother?" Erza seriously asked about the plan that they came out with.
"We won't know until it happens and please, don't call me baby anymore. I'm old enough to rule our family land that is supposed to be you." Morbius coldly answered and demanded not to be babied anymore.
"Well, you know your elder sister was lazy when it comes to paperwork. That's why I stayed as your knight." Erza teased as she ruffled his hair a bit. Morbius groaned.
"I'm the youngest and you all pass it to me." He pointed out but he knew that he was already defeated since he was already handling the land that their family owns.
"Well, you're doing great with it." Lorenzo chuckled as he sounded proud of the accomplishment of their younge
After the sudden incident at the clinic, Morbius called his siblings to discuss further plans of what they'd already come up with. They were discussing their first plan and they had to do some updates when Natasha came in with their snacks. She even sat beside Morbius across his siblings on the other couch. “We're not even starting yet but due to what just happened, we must update our first plan." Morbius started their sudden meeting again. "Alright, based on what just happened, all news and rumors from other neighboring clans and packs were all pointing in one direction. Lupo Stewart." Meilyn was the first one who started their serious meeting. "From what I've gathered about him before till now, I've learned that he was talking to some rogues and nomads to he
As he heard those words come out from his beloved Natasha, Morbius didn't know what to say or even how to react. He just sternly looked at her as if he was trying to read a very interesting book before him. Natasha waved her hand in front of her mate who just snapped and smiled at her. "Gotcha back." Natasha chuckled slightly before she looked back at the papers and some images on the center table. "So, Natasha care to explain fully what you mean about your idea and why we need a witch." Erza turned the table back to the topic that they were speaking about earlier. "Okay, first I've known some of our men here were geeky whenever it comes to computer or digital invention. So, I came up with something and it was the exact time that I met Gem. I told her that I would call her when I prepared everythin
"You believe in me?" he carefully asked. Natasha smiled sweetly at him. "Yes, I do. We won't be here if I don't." She teased but the message was pure honesty. "Then let's prepare everything so he won't harm you." He decided and Natasha was happy that he agreed. Both of them stayed at the office and wished not to be disturbed. Morbius let her siblings handle the land while they prepared their plan to work against their prey. “Alright, let’s get started." Natasha clapped her hands as both of them went into their cold facade which always meant serious mode for them. "Did you get anything about Lupo's past from Tyriel and Dan?” Natasha wondered first since Morbius sent somebody to do some diggin
"Well, well, what we have here, my lovely queen?" Ceres's taunting voice began echoing around the woods where the two council pets lurked for information about Morbius. The two council pets were looking around since the owner of the voice was nowhere to be found. But, on the other hand, Ceres saw their wondering expression as they began moving cautiously. "What are you going to do with them?" Frizabelle asked her wife while leaning on the tree beside her wife. "Hm, loose their screws perhaps." Ceres was smirking as she answered while her eyes were still locked on the two council pets on the ground. "But not to the point they were going to harm anyone here." Frizabelle reminded her before a peck left on her wife's cheek.
Their meeting with Morbius's siblings finally ended, and Natasha hadn't left the office yet. She just carefully watches her mate do his work. Morbius was on his back talking in a foreign language that Natasha didn't know that he could speak. "Of course, he's been living for years that I don't want to count." Natasha thought to herself. She carefully studied Morbius's posture from head to toe and she found herself suddenly smiling. Realizing where her thoughts were leading she snapped before she got caught. Feeling the heat forming over her cheek, Natasha shook her head and looked around the office till she ended up at Morbius's desk. She pressed some button on the desk, the curtain suddenly closed making Morbius look at her. Natasha shrugged her shoulders and a hologram features appeared at the center of the office.
After taking a refreshing bath, Natasha was thinking deeply about their plan and how to make it work when she started to hear her wolf's voice. 'Don't overthink things.' "You know that I can't help it. I won't be an excellent cautious doctor for nothing. When something bothers me, I have to figure out a thing or two to make things work even their a slight chance of making it successful." Natasha was being serious when she responded to her wolf while wearing decent clothing for the day. 'You're not alone this time and it was not a sealed room to operate.' "But it's a huge opportunity to dissect a prey." She countered causing her wolf to laugh. 'There were times I don't get the way you think but it amuses me a lot.'
“Morbus, I am not going anywhere else but in your arms. So please, come back to me, you partly scaring me already.” Natasha was firm but admitted the fear of losing Morbius if he kept looking far from the present. “For a lifetime, be mine. Don't leave me.” He was starting to break as his voice began to waver and tears showed up. "I won't. I'm your wife and I am fully yours." Natasha wiped the tears away from her husband before pulling him into her arms lovingly. It was Natasha's first time seeing Morbius break down in a different way. There might be possessiveness in his tone but it was also being wrapped with warmness that Natasha always felt around him. The kind of warmness that never failed to make her mood so light and happy. That kind of feeling that Natasha wished not to lose at all cost.
Natasha and the twins waited for Morbius in the car. While they were waiting, the car was filled with silence as the twins snuggled into Natasha's arms. They were crying silently until Morbius came and they went home. "Do you know who he is?" Morbius quickly asked while they were on the road. "Is he our biological father, right?" Jizelle guessed with her cold and upset tone. "Jizelle..." Jonathan tried to stop his twin from speaking something that their parents didn't know yet. Jizelle shook her head and Jonathan sighed as he nodded. "Mommy, I drew him and dream of a dark brown wolf crying and howling in pain...it was broken and wanted everything to end." Jizelle began by telling about their dream. "And wh
