I look up at him and scrunch my nose, trying to act cute, “What are you doing here? And where’s everyone else?”
He tightens his hold on me and kisses me on the lips before replying, “I send them home, they weren’t getting the work done anyway.”
I chuckle at his response, swat his shoulder, and steps away from him, “Stop it, you can’t be here. Royal custom remember?”
Aaron closes the distance between us yet again and caresses my face with his index finger, his eyes are shining with a tenderness I rarely see and I just know, what we have? What we have is forever.
I smile at him and rests my face in his palm as he cups my face, “Baby, is there anything that is more important than us?”
