I sigh, coming to the conclusion that I need to tell him everything. I have no idea, how he might react but I just hope he doesn’t freak out or call me a freak like others.
“Aaron, honestly I don’t need any of the guards but for your peace of mind, I will let Ray tag along.”
“Not this again!” He groans.
“You don’t believe me, do you?” I ask with a tired smirk.
He doesn’t answer but I know he doesn’t. He thinks I am a common mortal and can be easily killed. I leave his lap and motion for him to stand up too. When he does, I hold his hand, “Do you care for me?”
He nods and frowns while looking down at me in concern.
“Then I want you to attack me and bite me again if you can.”
