Selena's heart was pounding in her chest as she stared at these alphas' fierce expressions, and she thought she was going to collapse from how violently her heart was beating. But then, after a few seconds, everything seemed to move in slow motion, and Selena felt calm and in control of herself and her surroundings.

"I hate fools!" Selena said with force in her voice like no other.

The wine glass in Gabriel's hand slipped to the floor as he lost consciousness. Bob instantly rested his hand on the counter, blocking his young master's head from banging on the wooden surface. He confusedly stared at his young master's unconscious face.
