➳ Pernwél

The sensation of being completely filled by Jake was one I couldn’t get accustomed to. He stretched me delightfully and hit the right spots deep inside me. My walls clenched around his shaft as he slowly edged in and out of my core.

His hand grabbed on to my waist to keep me down as he built up a pace, thrusting in and out of my core. While he did, his gaze never left mine, he was opening the door for me to look directly into his heart, baring himself to me as he made love to me. His other hand trailed over my shoulder, tracing the area around my collarbone, that scorched under his touch.

Somehow, my body knew what was about to happen, and craved it instantly. My core was on fire, the only way to subside the flames was with his touch.

He lowered both his h

My thick fur coat shielded me from the wind coursing through the riverlands. Two lanterns sat at each side of the door, giving enough light to the surrounding area. ➳ PernwélWe spent every waking moment preparing for the impending attacks that were coming our way. Warriors were pushed harder in training each morning and more patrols were organised around the perimeter, splitting them up like Darren had said.Plans were constantly discussed and improved in an attempt to cover any gaps in our defences.Carpenters had begun to work with the idea from Viggo’s tree hut, like the one I had in Agmysther. They provided the two key lookouts around the territory and a way to gaze over miles of pack land. We decided for a smaller version and instead of putting the wooden steps into the trunk, we opted for a retractable rope ladder.Rune and I had been working long hours on creating the salves and ointme

🐾 Alpha JakeThe words had left my mouth on their own accord. I gazed in awe at the beautiful silver grey wolf that Pernwél had shifted into. Her eyes had remained the emerald green that I loved as I locked gazes with my own.The transition hadn’t been easy, the pain had caused her to scream, making me instantly regret that I had marked her. The sounds of bone snapping and the twisting of limbs, stretching in impossible angles had made me want to trade places with her.Soon, she had given in to the overwhelming pain and she lost consciousness, letting her body take over the rest of the shift. Seeing her transition like this, how her small frame had to endure the change, made me feel grateful for being born a werewolf. We had learned to shift

🐾 PernwélI was having difficulties adapting to my wolf form, the various sounds and smells were swarming around me, hitting me hard with a cacophony of stimulations. It was a new state of awareness. While dealing with all of that and the ache of the muscles of my recently shifted and relocated body, everyone around me was having a conversation about a strange marking on my back.Rune had started it, exclaiming ‘I knew it’ with incredible conviction. She stroked the lines on my fur and I concentrated on the movement so I could call the symbol forward in my mind as she traced it. When I looked to my back I only saw that the lines were a darker grey than my silver fur.Three bars inclined towards the center and three small circles a

🐾 Beta RuneThe possibility had crept up to me multiple times. I just didn’t have the confidence to trust anyone with my suspicions about our Luna. I was still a newcomer and I lacked the audacity to speak my thoughts out loud. When she finally shifted into her wolf and I saw the marking on her back, it became clear. I was certain that the prophecy was talking about Pernwél and I couldn’t contain the happiness that bubbled up inside my chest. It meant that Valeria was right, I had interpreted the prophecy correctly and that made it possible for all the rogues to find redemption here. There were a lot of packs in the same situation that Susan, Steven, my pup and I had been in. To feel part of a pack again, after losing everything, is a new start.Being accepte

🐾 PernwélAfter weeks of meticulous planning, the assets and preparations for the war that Alpha Markus had brought upon us were in place. Meaning that after my first successful shift, people were ecstatic to celebrate the Luna ceremony. They hadn’t seen my wolf yet, so the whispers and comments were still hitting me full force. Now that I had managed to shift into a werewolf I felt their emotions differently, like a strange form of empathy. I did, however, sense that they were slowly warming up to me now that I had become one of them. Surviving the shift had made the fact that I was here to stay discernible for them. While all of the warriors had been training and patrolling non-stop, the other pack members had been working on the Luna Ceremony. They had turned the Grey Moon pack into a winte

🐾 Luna PernwélThey had cut off the powersource at the base of the mountain and we had only the candlelight to guide us. My eyesight had changed because of my wolf's nature and seeing in the dark was no longer an obstacle to me. Everyone’s eyes glowed around me, adapting to the darkness.“Every pack member, go to your places!” Jake bellowed through the tent. “Non-warriors, return home and close the doors and windows.” He motioned towards the mothers and children, while the female warriors ushered them to their houses in an organised way.Everything was prepared and the pack members were trained on how to act when we noticed the first indication that Cold Creek was near. The pack trickled orderly in and out of the tent, the first house next to the packhouse had bee

🐾 Alpha JakeAs soon as we heard word back from the outpost that they had indeed approached us from the east, we gathered on the treeline of the forest. The snow cracked beneath our feet, indicating that the weather wasn’t favorable for this encounter. It meant that the frosting layer of ice on the snow would make it difficult to move, resulting in the possibility of slipping on our feet or paws. The two smaller groups that had to move in the shadows were already making their way to circle around Cold Creek so we could close in on them. I hoped they wouldn’t experience too much setback due to the weather, one of them had to go round a small lake. The two formations that will come into the fray from the back are led by Elder Stanley and Chris. Elder Stanley had insisted on being present in the fight. He ha

➳ Aerin, Queen of Agmysther“There must be something I can give to you.”I begged and I prayed, to spare my love from such a cruel demise. The King of Agmysther had no heart, no soul. He was as black as a night without stars.“What could you possibly give me?” His voice boomed through the room as he held me up by my throat, eyeing me as if I disgusted him. I had failed him, by loving another man.“More power?” I tried throwing him something he would be interested in, maybe I could offer him a spell or a brew that could make him happy, a reason to spare Viggo’s life.“I have everything I need.” He snarled. “And if I would want something else I would take it with a snap of my fingers.” He hissed against the skin of m

I was expected to listen to my parents and not disobey them.“Why would you?” She answered with a gasp. “You are to become Queen.”Our marriage wasn’t one of love, but of convenience. My parents were noblemen from the South and I had inherited my Druidic powers from a long line of female Druids in my ancestry. We all knew that what the King from Agmysther wanted was power. 🐾 Alpha Jake Three years had passed since the dreadful attack from Selmor, and a peaceful time had come to the Grey Moon pack. The ancestor, Darach, the oak tree from Agmysther had been the only thing that remained in our Realm. Except for the Druid, Grendal and his wife’s body that stayed behind as well. We lost many pack members that day and had a proper rite burial by the magical oak tree that was now a part of our land. The magical powers from the Third Realm had left the area and hadn’t returned, which we all were grateful for. Our pack rebuilt and repaired damages in the following months after the war. We lost over twenty pack members and we tried our best to provide solace for their mates and children. It was hard, it always is after a battle, but this one took more away than we had bargained for. It took

🐾 Luna Pernwél The moment that I regained consciousness in Jake’s arms I knew there was something wrong with me; a piece missing. I didn’t feel the Awen flow through me anymore. I felt drained, like a current of energy had struck through me, leaving me empty. My eyes fluttered against Jake’s chest, he had shifted back into his human form to carry me and I couldn’t recall for a moment what had just happened. I opened my eyes to see the blue sky above our heads, the sight startled me and I tried to wriggle free from Jake’s arms. He wouldn’t have it and he clutched me closer to him. “How do you feel?” He spoke with a sad raspiness to his voice. His emotions of worry whipped around me, striking me with their icy shards. “I don’t know.” I responded, finding my own voice. “The l

🐾 Alpha Jake I never had encountered such creatures in my life as the ones that flanked Selmor in the back of the battle field. Pernwél invaded my thoughts over mindlink explaining that they were rare creatures from Agmysther, mountain giants from the North. My breathing cut inside my throat and I struggled to swallow the ball of nerves down. These creatures from another Realm, the mountain giants, had the colour of the earth and were bare with the exception of a cloth covering their loins. Their heads reached the highest tree tops and a shudder wacked through me in the realization that the battle had taken an enormous turn in our disadvantage. While the poisoned arrows were doing their work, I noticed from my peripheral that they didn’t do the giants much harm. It seemed like everything we threw at th

Selmor’s army was here.Dark elves came through the various magical openings between our Realms, sprawled across the field in an organized manner. Tidy formations, like robots following their master’s orders, thundered through. The thudding of the metal boots against the moist surface from the strange rain reverberated through the area as they took their places in a rehearsed shape, forming a wall along the tree line. They looked exactly how Pernwél described them. Obscure metallic armour held together by leather straps around their bodies. They wore helmets making them look like carbon copies of one another. Darkness swirled around them, like they were part of it. Their swords hun

🐾 Beta RuneThese last few weeks have been intense. Preparing for a new battle while carrying a pup in the beginning of the third trimester was harder than I expected. I wasn’t as physically strong as the female pack warriors, but I wasn’t fighter material. I was a healer in every sense of the word.I tried to not let fear overwhelm me. I knew that our pack was strong and that we would fight until the threat was eradicated. Grey Moon was known as one of the most brutal packs regarding training. Even though you got to know the people that ran it on a personal level, you couldn’t be in a better place. Werewolves knew Grey Moon and not to pick fights with them. Sadly, Alpha Markus did and we had to bury four pack members. I had the feeling that fighting these Dark Elves would be harder and there would be more casualties.

🐾 Luna Pernwél Everything was finally coming together. In a week we had managed to prepare so much in record time. Jake had decided to use the building next to the pack house as a storage space filling every room with the leftover materials from the attack against Cold Creek. We had everything at our disposal all under one roof. The poisoned arrows, courtesy of Rune, would be a weapon that no-one would see coming. We had created something so deadly, that one hit in the right place would see our enemy dead within minutes. It would take just a few seconds before they rolled around in excruciating pain that caused every muscle in their bodies to spasm and convulse. I handpicked the best archers and taught them what to do. With such a lethal concoction on the arrowheads, we didn’t want them to

🐾 Luna PernwélComing back to Grey Moon with both my parents in the back of the Land Rover was strange. Not the fact that they were looking at each other like two teenagers in love, but because it was different for me. I never had any parents and now I had them sitting behind me in the vehicle.I had been raised completely as an orphan, thinking I had no family at all. It took me one hard fall on my bum into another Realm to find my true family, and then my real one revealed itself. It had been a crazy ride and I sensed that there was a lot more to come. Now that we knew what Selmor wanted and the lengths he was willing to go to get it, we needed to come up with a strategy. One that would destroy their plans of ever returning to the Third Realm with what they want. Our first priority was
