Chapter 68: Ready to Let Go

Ryker's POV

I could still hear Ella's cries even as I returned to my room. My wolf was fighting my resolve. I wanted to run to her and hold her in my arms but I found myself stuck in a dilemma.

A part of me wanted to believe her. A part of me wanted to treat her right but another part of me strongly believed that Willow couldn't lie to me.

She couldn't harm anyone. She was very sweet and innocent. She cared about everyone around her and she wouldn't want to harm anyone but Ella had dared accuse her of attempted murder.

That couldn't have been right.

But then again, why would Ella lie to me about Willow?

A thousand thoughts went through my head and I walked into the shower for a cold bath, hoping to ease the stress I was going through.

It did work but the moment I stepped out of the shower, the pain and stress returned. This time, I became worried about how Willow would handle all these.

Wtf was this author thinking? He just stood there and listened to Willow call her a whore and piece of trash, and then he says Willow is sweet and cares about everyone and would never hurt anyone. Not to mention, he doesn't think Willow is guilty of anything she said. Book makes no sense
